A3 Number Plate Removal

Hello,

Could anyone help me with removing my number plate? I have a 2007 Audi A3, i want to put my private registration on but the screws on the back dont undo and the ones at the front are small dome shapes which i cant seem to pop off, are they security screws?

Oh and i am sorry if this has come up before, i have searched and searched and cant find anything......

The dome shapes are just covers over the screw heads. Just flick them off with a small screwdriver - you will notice a small groove to get the screwdriver in.

Usually number plate screws are plastic and seem very stiff to undo. As you're unscrewing try and pull the plate towards you as you are turning so that it helps to remove the screw.

Why don't you just leave the standard ones on, sell the PP's and make some cash... ;-0
