That's the second double din I've seen this week that claims to be original. Were there any Sports that had double din from factory?
Handbrake looks high but a small grumble I suppose lol Also steering wheel looks quite shiny for 40k...
 
5K, thats a bit steep these days, you can get an S4(B5) for 5K. although it says 40kmiles i would be dubious about that mileage plus for that money i would look for a B6
 
Yeah thats what I was thinking! 40K!!! I'de wasnt that verified and double checked if I was going to buy it! And yeah, 5k is nice S4 territory! I picked up the other halfs B6 3ltr quattro Avant (fully loaded with 68k) for £5,400.
 
Yeah i would want the mileage checked, to many people clocking cars these days, I sold a Bora awhile back on ebay with 197k on the clock, a few days later it was back on ebay and the lad who bought it off me had changed the mileage to 90k and taken a picture of the clocks to prove it.

Oh yeah, these B5'S even in pristine condition are not worth much anymore. When I get rid of mine I will most likely get a B7/B8 and swap as many parts over as I can, then break/flea bay the rest. Its a shame, be lovely to still think these cars are worth 5k upwards! IMHO my other halfs car is nice, but isn't as much fun to drive as a B5. Hasnt got the feedback on the road. I dunno coud just be me!
 
Too much £. It is a lovely car but it's just not an S4. You could find a beautiful 1.8tqs for 2k less and enjoy it nearly as much. No one will pay anything above 4k for that.

Mine is a 1.8T 2000 with double din. It is deffo original.
 
The TQS was a funny model.

For instance all TQS models have cable throttle, even though most/all other B5's switched to electronic throttle when they went facelift, if not before.
 
wish my wheels still had the shiny rim! only the spare still does, others have been refurbed and painted silver!

need a new refurb soon tho
 
Hi everyone, was this the 43k black a4 with reg plate c11 uup? i checked the service hist with audi essex that did servicing and all matches up, whats a right price for this i was looking at it, also needs belt and pump doing and bumper painting and bootlid above plate repainting, cheers lee
 
thanks for the reply, will give it a miss then, its now 4250 and i reckon 500 needs spending for belt/pump and paint
