B6 Dash / Door trim inserts ...

I have an 03 A4 Avant, and looking to change my grey dash door inserts for some aluminium (look) replacements ...

Would replacements from either a B5 or B7 be a suitable swap ?

Sorry if this is a daft Q - this is my 1st Audi, so not clued up yet

i think b7 may do but not 100% sure but i no most b7 parts will fit the b6 as for the b5 i have no idea at all welcome to the forum too ;-)

James, that film is pretty cool - I'm changing my wifes inserts in her RS 197 - they are stock "plastic silver" so this will do the trick nicely!

You got a picture of the grey inserts? What condition are they in? You got full set and anyone know if they can easily be removed and replaced without risk of damage. Some parts I have noticed have very brittle tabs, poor quality or a deliberate ploy for after sales? !!!!

These are for the B6 there is no ash tray. The set has all 4 doors and dash insert's inc gear lever surround.

Hiya, I can get pics if you're interested - they are in great condition tbh, Ive not tried removing them yet, but Im sure they should remove easy enough.

Oh, and yes, I have a full set as they are whats currently in my Avant
