AUDI A3 TDI, LOW AND SLOW!

thought id put my new purchase on here, im glad to be back in a VAG car! put this on the other a3 forum but as its an 03 with an 07 front i suppose it belongs here too

so, basicly its an audi A3 TDi SE, with a few choice mods already.

07 front bumper
orange and black bentley splits
custom orange/tan leather trim
smoothed and frenched rear bumper
coilovers
orange audi rings
motech remap

things to come hopefully:

change of wheel colour/ possible change of wheels
lowwer the front
bodywork
sound system
rear wiper delete
carbon

so here she is, gave it a proper clean, clay bar, polish/ wax last night, must have been an ex E38 crew car? as it has the edition stickers on the wings

thought id mention...im 21, im not a fat balding 47 year old accountant trying to pull off an audi A3 with orange bentley wheels....so less of the comments about "how **** the wheels look etc etc" if id bought the car for you id take it on board, but evidently im not, so there isnt much point letting me know.......feel free to pay for them to be painted if they bother you that much

Haha, the wheels will look stunning polished, maybe with anthracite middles though? Not a fan of the orange! Looks nice though, love the drenched tailgate! Would put the rings back on personally though.

well i did want to change the colour, but now i have seen how much it outrages the "purists" i might keep it like this

bez, would it make you sleep better if i raised the coilovers put a set of rs4's on it and an s-line badge on the back?

oh right, is that the original owner then? just a tidy up for the interior at the moment and sorting a couple of electrical/mechanical niggles, then when weather gets a bit better a change of wheels so i can get the front ride height sorted! is yours going to be at UD this year? absulutely love it, but never seen it in the flesh unforunatly

nice car mate , in my opinion i think your wheels would look good in silver as that always look nice on black cars and i would keep the audi rings orange just to have something different to the rest , oh and are they golf mk5 gti seats they look like from the rear im thinking of getting my seats retrimed but keeping the black leather on the outside and getting the centre's done in red alcantara instead of the dark grey they are now or go all out and have cream leather with red alcantara like i had in my last car anyway its your car do how you please these are only peoples opinions

Yes Ben is the guy who built the car! Yeh it needs a bit of TLC, but its had some cool mods done to it! Yes I'll be inside @ UD this year, thats the plan anyway

my my, i often open my mouth too wide on here and get my foot stuck in it, but this is something else lol. it's not about being a "purist", people are allowed to offer an opinion - even if it's different to yours and ESPECIALLY if you suggested that you'd like other ppl's views by suggesting yourself that the wheel colour needed changing

i know you're only 21 but high blood pressure is a silent killer. calm down a bit. and before you get worried that i might be a balding 47 year old i'm a fit-and-well 24 year old with a full head of hair
