S3 Wrapped in Black

mine came from the factory "wrapped" in black paint. does that count?

ohh matte black there an S3 on autotrader for £14k something thats wrapped matte black.
Think matte black only looks good on "sport cars or super cars". If your gonna get it wrapped choice a colour that you wont see on any A3/S3 something thats unique just IMO
 
Wellbeck one of the young United lads has a matt black S3, but it can only be pulled off in a heavily modded car IMO, on a standard car it just doesn't look right!

Plus it's even harder to keep clean than normal black paint, only thing that works is a swissvax product with a nice hefty price tag, if I was getting a car wrapped it would have to be unique, camo print anyone?!

yeah im so so on the leather too but what a noise it makes esp when your standing right behind it while being revved to about 5k rpm ahh heaven

I've been begging my mate to wrap my car for months, but he doesn't like doing it due to the time it takes up and the minimal profit once time is factored in :(

I'm a fan of A3/S3 wrapped matte black (hence the display pic lol)
 
Out of interest what colour is your car now Dazzeroo?

I've read that the vinyl itself costs £350 max and most of these places charge £900+ for an A3 that's done in 1.5 days that's a decent profit IMO. I been toying with a few colour idea's after seeing the extensive list that are available now... Sepang anybody :eyebrows:

Seen your avatar car in the flesh, simply stunning it was for sale then if u look closely you will see the forsale signs in his rear quarter windows used to have it as my avatar as well

Wrapping a car is a highly skilled thing to do (properly anyway) I'm training myself to do it at the moment (Not on the audi I might add), been doing sign writing for a while and when I brought my race car decided to use it as a practice for wrapping.
For the amount of patience you need I think the price is justified, although there are plenty of new people coming into the market now who can do it so expect it to drop over the next 12 months.

And yes, matt black only looks good on supercars or highly modded cars, doesn't work as a road car full stop in my opinion, same as CF.
