I've just got my hands on a nearly new Audi S4. It looks to be a really nice vehicle but is missing navigation. I am very dependent on my Sat Nav and feel somewhat reluctant to suction-cup a £99 TomTom job to the windscreen of a £30k car.

Does anyone know what is involved in getting nav fitted? I noticed that the entire suite of knobs and buttons are relocated to the gear lever area so it doesn't look like a particularly easy fix.

I have trawled the net and found retro fitting for quite a number of Audi models but seemingly not possible for the new A4?

try audizine a few have

It will cost a fortune on a b8....for a start relocating the mmi controls to the gear surround.A tom tom can be paced elsewhere, and i know its not 'oem' or 'flush' but at least its updateable cheaply and easily unlike oem sat nav. This guy will put you straight. The lack of an option of a sat nav retro for a b8 gives you a clue, but give them a bell you never know

My friend just put MMI 3G in his A4 2009. Car was without navi and with audi concert. Now he got B&O, MMI 3G, mp3, DVD and TV. I think he paid around 2200euro for everything.

Where did he get this done? Im kicking myself so bad for not paying the extra for MMI :(

Probably need to get component protection sorted when installing that kit, ask Craig whose up your way if he can sort it for you, he does allot of these things iirc for dealers.
