If it was delivered by ANC or someone other than Parcel Farce then I would expect it will be in the post... in previous experiences I have had customs notices 3 months after receiving the goods!!

i think he's doing alot of new things with his aswell though so hats off to him for the work he does it all looks top class to me as for welly and tufty there the guine pigs for what most on here will end up doing/want to do so i have alot of respect for those two aswell

I have made my mistakes during the build, when the 2.1 was built i did very little miles in and then it over heated one day when i was away from the car and found out it fried the pistons rings and big ends due to boiling the oil, It was ripped out and rebuilt with total seal gapless rings.

2nd mistake was thinking a hybrid would work well on a 2.1, the ****** thing runs out of poof very early.

3rd VXR injectors!! saw Wellys thread and sold soon after

4th mistake was thinking 630cc would work fine with a hybrid, then buying 440cc ones then changing my mine about the turbo

from there i did my research and watched other on here and other sites. I saw tuffty was getting boost creep with the internal gate so i though i better go external gate, next was the turbo I wanted a GT for sure and i spent a lot of time looking at what turbo would be best for me. I would like to see 500bhp at some point so looked at the GT3076r but as soon as i was going to get one then this baby caught my eye.

GTI is what I am aiming for atm... might be a bit of a one horse race given Andrews spec.. mines still a lowly 1.8 remember...

Be interesting to see the results of this tbh as I haven't built mine for ultimate power (despite Bill's best efforts to persuade me otherwise lol...)

Its a brave engine spec Andrew has taken on and hats off to you fella....

Don't forget people set up of the car as mine still needs a lot of work in that area !!

Mine will be mapped my RS Tuning in Leeds, not sure how they are with custom mapping Badger is a real 1.8 20v Turbo mapper petrol head and engineer so i would say Tuffty's would be ahead of me on the 1/4.

I respect Badger and Tuffty because of there knowledge of these engines and managements of the S3's

I only came into the VAG world a few years ago and still leaning as Badger+Tuffty will tell you with the amount of PM's i've sent them.

630cc injectors will not be sufficient for it nor close.. unless you just run it on v.low pressure, and whats the point in that?
i ran 830cc @4bar on my gt35 on standalone and ran out of fueling ....... hence 8 injectors.. and 3 fuel pumps, -8 fuel line, -6 return, 3ltr swirl pot etc etc yada yada.

when its going to be running then? are we there yet? are we there yet?

Thumbs up for Paul Murray at RS tuning. he mapped my mk2 20vt and hes done loads of big turbo 20vts. He knows 20vts inside out!

And he`l be doing my GT30` S3!
