South wales meet

Any plans for a meet soon, gettin back in to the Audi scene with 96 B5 1.9TDI SE 110 on Wednesday so was wanting to see what other cars there were around.

yes mate there is a meet coming up at the end of febuary so keep an eye aout on here for the dates ok
 
Do we actually have a date? I'm interested... My car could do with some loving (a proper clean for the first time since autumn) and this would be the perfect excuse... :)
 
oh oh.... Hopefully my car will be on the road before then! I'm having a new head gasket! and it should be ready for me this Thursday! OMG then I shall take it in for a valet, unless you can fit me in Grant? my car is an ab trash can at the mo. Needs a lot of TLC. I'll pm you. :yes:
 
im always up for a meet has anybody got an idea for a location as of yet im up for going most places so just let me know the info dude's and dudette's

Hi Mark, you didn't do anything wrong, thanks for all your help. It never ran properly, and Rob was never fussed getting my car sorted, he used it as a storage facility!! The garage was my last resort otherwise it was going to the scrappy cos I would'nt know what to do!

Anyway, I'm soooo looking forward for my baby to be running again! It's gonna be looked after good and proper! I'll be so independent I feel f**king free again! lol
 
How is everyone fixed for Sunday 27th and how about a new location (following on from last years idea's)..
 
If my car is all fixed and clean then yeh, I'll be there, wherever that is... :yes:
 
Hmm I usually go riding on a Sunday... Might be persuaded to go to a meet instead.
 
im good for the 27th, shall we try table table this time then? not sure what jnc it is but very nice food and good parking.

helen we will have that car of yours looking the best it has since coming out of the factory :) looking forward to getting it from you now so we can turn it around and rejuvinate your love for the little machine lol
 
I used to ride mountain bike's and was one of the reason's i bought a house close to Afon. I still have some of my bike's but after a major crash stoped me riding and i almost lost my job due to amount of time i had of work.
 
Haha I had a savage crash 4 years ago... Left me with a paralysed left arm... Yet I still ride.

Usually ride at llantrisant forestry but ride downhill tracks all over south Wales, go out every Sunday.
 
nice mate i usually go up the tracks up by castle coch and in the next few weeks im going down to afan forrest cant wait some quality tracks down there
 
Been on the afan - lol - was mental - i used my mates bike as he is really into it - his bike cost a fortune!!!

Grant/Rhyso - sorry not been intouch my phone has broke and am in middle of waiting for a part for it so i have an old phone at the moment with no numbers on it - i hope i fix it as i have ALL my numbers on it.
Drop me a text so i have your numbers again incase i dont manage to fix my phone:rock:

Just an update on my car. The garage will get back to me either today or Monday, the head has been sent for some tests to see if there's cracks or damage inside. Then they can tell me what's up! they said there was a lot of pressure in it. :unsure:
 
how does the last sunday of this month sound to everyone? it will be at table table this time close to bridgend, CF35 5HY. not sure which junction it is but i shall find out.

so how about it then peeps, table table 12pm on the last sunday on this month(27th)
 
sounds good to me grant im all good with that just have to let me know where it is as i havent got a clue with bridgend
 
Fran it's easy as it's second's off the motorway, for next months meet we can try a differnt location and so on.
 
colin knows more about the junction and things so let us know where abouts it is col
 
Just had a look on google maps, it's just off j35 so it's literally 10mins from my house, bonus!
 
Car Update - the garage just phoned, the tests came back and the head is cracked. They are going to ring around scrappys and find another head. Hopefully my car will be done soon so I can pop along to this meet. Fingers crossed!

happy days then col im there for sure i had a laugh at the last meet to be fair , yeah good idea mate different location for different months i like it a bit of variety

The garage has ordered a new head for my brum, and if it turns up tomorrow AM then they can work on the car over the weekend. Otherwise it will be sometime next week! *sigh* :3sadwalk:
