New Stig. Who is it?

I have read its Sabine but I dont think it is Sabine, I thought she she was taller than the current stig.

But your right, they can drive.
Wish i had the land and car to practise and be as good as that.
 
I think they have 1 stig to show the celebs round the track, and for testing some vehicles, who that is i dont know. I recon for certain makes of car its the test drivers and for Sundays show in the protons it was probably Alister McRea, seeing as he's drives for Proton
 
I was thinking possibly Jason Plato, they had Tiff on the show which was a surprise, got me thinking Plato as the stig...

I did notice that the guest (already forgotten who!) on last week's show seemed to be avoiding the words 'he' or 'she' when refering to the Stig...

What I wanna know is why didn't they change the colour of the Stig this time? Too much white Stig merchandise left to sell?
 
The stig they use on the track seems to be very short / petite which is probably where the rumours of it being a woman are coming from. Definitely too short/slim to be Tiff or JP.

I'd have liked to have seen a colour change as well - however as JS said, there is far too much merchandise they'd have to landfill.

I've got a very similar t-shirt lol.
I don't care who it is really, it's like, I don't want to know who Santa really is.

I think it probably changes all the time, dependent on who's available, who manufacturers will let drive etc. Someone that skilled is a professional driver so is prob very busy with other things to do it all the time
 
With the stance of the stig in the driving seat of the proton and his driving technique,first person that came into my mind was ken block.
 
I think it's rather sexy not knowin who is in that suit lol..... My imagination just goes on and on...............
 
to be honest I think it could be more than one person, I think some half decent journalist could did up a brilliant racing driver who suddenly becomes unemployed while top gears being filmed, its quite a commitment for somebody in that line of work to go out of the spotlight for such a long period of time too.
So if its more than one person, it gets rid of this.

Whoever it/they are, it would be horrid to drive cars like that and not being able to tell a sole, I'd go mad.
 
Can't be Phil Keen, he's the same height as Ben Collins. The new Stig is tiny, even shorter than Hamster.
