I hate the boring campers who sit there all match in the same place, it must get boring. By all means snipe every now and again, but surely the confrontation is what makes it more fun!
 
I play mostly hardcore only. It makes it more interesting. I do play normal mode also but only once in a blue moon.

I'm working on getting my K/D ratio up to around 2.00 now that I have all my pins and insignia's. It's the only thing left to do. I have a platinum PS3 trophy for the game (before nam came out) so need to buy it and complete challenges to get the 100% again.

You need to get to Rank 50 also matey ;)
 
I didn't get chance to go online last night, had to fit some tyres to my bike, and was fannying around with it for too long before I realised the time. Did you two get on? Hopefully this weekend will bring some BC2 time, but I doubt it.
 
Gutted! The boring life of grown up's having other things to do :( I loved being 17, I could drive, I had a girlfriend and still had infinite time for playstation it seemed. Those were the days.
 
I have been on this weekend. Most of the day Saturday.

B3 looks good, but it's a fair way off yet so for now working on my k/d ratio - Rank 50 and K/D ratio will come easy enough been having some very good games this week.

I'm on most nights for an hour or two around 4:15pm, more than welcome to join me.

I take back what i said. I played this morning and it was fine but when i tried this afternoon i couldn't get a game.
Had a crack on 1943 instead. Brought back so many memories of 2 summers ago.

Easiest thing to do when that happens is exit game and re-load. It works every time. It happened to me this afternoon but doing this enabled me to get a good few games.

1943 was great ive still got it myself. I haven't been on for a while though but it was definitely the best tenner ive ever spent. Are there still enough people playing it?

It seems so. I played 4 games and it was full teams both sides.
 
I'm on the 360 try & get on most nights so hit me with an fr always lookin more peeps to play with

Fair play there, Mr G. I cannot fathom how people get some of those pins. Feels like I've been playing BC2 half my life, yet I'm only level 32. K/D is awful, as I'm a brave (ie cannon fodder) medic.

Haha auto aim, it does track to the player if you are close enough to aid the analogue stick movement but it doesn't mean that you can walk around locking onto to enemies randomly killing them.

Pins/Insignia's I found easy, the hardest one was wheels of Hazzard I believe where you must kill 3 people with a vehicle in one round. Not that hard once you've done it and I must say i've done it more than once now, just to annoy people on the other team! Works a treat, you always know when you are getting to someone maybe after the 2nd Nemesis pin because if they do kill you, they use a clip of ammo shooting at your dead body lying there on the floor! LOL - Priceless!

The pins/insignia's is the least most difficult on the game imo. Accuracy and K/D ratio is the hardest, oh and the platinum stars on guns. I've a fair few but working on all.

Clearly a better player than I am. Headshot 500 people in 4 minutes whilst blindfolded is beyond me. Got platinum on the MG36 and M60, which isn't saying much, I know, but I just love being the medic; hence, my stats in the other classes suffer. K/D at 0.5, my excuse being that I'm always looking to resuss the team...

I found this one to be the hardest, I tried with tanks and could only kill 2 before being bombarded by rpg's. I ended up getting it with the quad :laugh:.

Yup does seem easier with either a quad or jeep. Tanks are just a nightmare, I stay out of them now :)

Oh by the way I play on the PC. I've got nam but not played it much.

BF3 looks cool, I may even have to learn to fly jets :)

Oh and if you like FPS's have a look at Home Front, that looks pretty cool as well.

Aye, Home Front looking v good. Someone told me it was 64 online players, but now appears to be 32.
