Top Mount for S3.. Which ones?

Well, in the hunt for my knocking i want to replace my top mounts,
Ive found a few different brands but dont realy know what im looking for.

Is it only one part per strut that needs changing? Or do they come in 2parts?

Any recommendations (with a link if possible) will be gratefully received.

LCR ones... they are harder...

1J0 412 331 C (Stock VW) = Durometer 50 - 55 (hard to get an accurate reading because its so soft )

1ML 412 331 Leon Cupra R = Durometer 80

I have a pair of these to fit sometime next week with new bearings... will of course photo it all for my thread while doing it

I got the part from ECP looks fine, just a bit of rubber after all!
As for the bearings i was thinking about the same thing, whether they need replacing or not, the top mounts i got from ECP didnt have bearings

Yes as the LCR one's are a harder rubber so will give better control.

Yes defo get new bearings and a new threaded bush:

2 of 1J0412249 axial grooved ball bearing
2 of 1H0412365A threaded bush

There's the part numbers.

As far as I know the top mounts are the same across all relevant VAGs, its just the LCR that gets different ones Yes, worth changing them too as they aren't really expensive...

So could i get everything from seat?
Or is it better to get them from eurocar parts or similar?
Im not 100% sure mine neen replacing, so id rather fit better than standard to make it worth while

SEAT would be the best bet, doubt ECP will carry the specific LCR part... they are more expensive than std mounts of course (although I can't tell you the price as I haven't had my bill yet) but the bearings are a std part and can be bought anywhere...

Right no probs,
Ive got no clue, so if i go to Seat with the part number you gave for the top mounts.
And the part numbers for the bearings and new threaded bush's they can get it all for me?

Potentially... part numbers would help as they prob won't have access to Audi part numbers... LCR suspension is pretty much the same as an S3 so you should be ok...
