B6 Useful Ebay finds

It is my car, yes. Nothing special really for the change. Looking for a A4 avant Quattro. What I should have bought in the first place really. Don't take Russian wives I'm afraid though, not much of a fan usually. Prefer Asian wives, find them more obedient for the most part. Well, mine sometimes is.

That picture looks the same as the seat one only twice the price, the only mod i had to make to mine was to cut the top off the centre uprights, two minuites with a stanley knife, well worth the £25 saved.
 
As above. Its a LCR splitter, and only just over £20 from any SEAT dealer.
 
Ah, thanks for the heads up James! Was thinking of asking about that when i got them fitted anyway to give it a wider stance. Would i need to buy these or would the wheel fitters be able to provide them? Thanks mate
 
Oh, n down to my local Seat stealer then when i finally get my new front lip! £25 . . . . unbelievable! My mate reckons he paid £179 from VW for his 56 plate golf!
 
Back to the wheel spacers . . . . . . what mm would anyone recommend? Would i be right in thinking they would have to be thicker than if i were putting A4 wheels to increase the overall stance?

Any help would be great thanks but will have a look to see if this has popped up before on another thread.

Yes you're right, but until you know for sure the ET of the A3 wheels it's a stab in the dark guessing.
 
Ok cool, you were also right about the ET of the A3 wheels. They are ET54 . . . . . so really i'd be looking for 20mm front and 25mm rear?
 
Right, just checked the other thread on spacers so scrap my guess above, 15 rear & 10 front seems to be the suggestion!

To be fair he's not asking double but still more than the main dealer for one listed as used.
 
To give him the benefit of the doubt, bumper + sticker + colour coding will be £200 +

Paul quoted me last week £154 plus post which he said would be expensive as it's a large item, i will always give Paul first chance to quote as he has seen me right in the past.
 
Amazed they didn't even mention it being a quattro!

aww man. makes me an even bigger **** for not taking it last year then. doh! (must check that my memory is correct and i'm not thinking of the front valance)
 
It would be good to see the quality of those GRP blades, and interesting to see what they go for. I know the S4 blades go for a pretty penny, but I think his claims of "Over £500" are a bit optimistic!
