 looking good! did you get the horn working yea?

all you have left to do is the gear sifter :yum:

thanks pal yes got the horn working, after looking at the harness that come with the bag and mine i realised what i needed to do.
was thinking of doing the shifter but cautious in case i snap the plastic piece or do it wrong lol

lol i get you.. but makes a big difference and feel so much beta.. did you figure out the extra wire u needed to add on?

Thanks for all the comments guys :) felt bit weird at 1st but fine with it now lol, all i need now is s3 pedals and new style dsg shifter to finish my interior off.

Well done mate, looked miles better! I remember when I got my car I found it very strange at first. But they are:wub::yum:

can you get black rings for the 8P3 grille??

Looks very nice mate, you have a sweet car there in general  Not to sure on your skirts :ninja: but they work for you so hey!

X2 I'm bricking it to try and change the shifter as well. My fbsw has a white trim so wanna change handbrake and gaiter to white trim also but the 2k bill if it goes wrong is a major concern, lol.

What exactly did you need to do to your old wiring harness then?

thanks alot bud love the car now its has the exact spec i have always wanted on a a3, especially the FB, looks the bollacks now lol, the skirts are coming off soon enough, some days they look ok and most they dont lol, its not a 2k bill if it goes wrong pal, the selector is £296 from tps and just need to fit it lol, on the harness all i did was but a link between the horn lugs simples lol

looks spot on lad, flat bottomed is the next mod for me after the seats :ninja:

Is going from a MFSW to a FBMFSW a fairly easy straight swap then? Do you reuse the same airbag?

No you use a different airbag mate, have a look at the pics. The first airbag is a shield shape whereas the fbmfsw has a round airbag
