Hi Guys,

So I am looking to retrofit an auto dimming rear view mirror into my 06 A3 Sportback. On the website, it says I will need PR-Nr.8N6 already in my car...

Does anyone know what this is?

According to my info PR 8N6 does not exist. However it might be out of date.

That is not the part number - this is :-8R0 857 511 (4PK black) cost about £185.

However, you will need auto wipers and auto lights on your car as well, which if you haven't got will also require a new windscreen !

Maybe that is what the PR 8N6 is ?

Yes - read that. Also did a search and found this site :- VW Group Option Codes Decoder

Which means, if you haven't got it you need a new windscreen !
