Brake lights not working- Top light does though!

Hi all,

A quick question. Just noticed both brake lights don't work. But the top panel of small brake lights do work? The fuse is fine, and so are the bulbs. I know it can't be the brake light switch.

Any ideas?

if the fuse and bulbs are ok then its the switch
top light always works when switch goes

Yeah if bulbs fine then its switch. Scan with vagcom if you want confirmation!

Damn, didn't know that the top one still works if its the switch! I just replaced it less than a year ago!

Lessons learnt for using Euro Car Parts I guess...

Cheers peeps, will be getting the switch from TPS this time.

How the F*!k can the middle brake light work if the switch is broken?

Theres one switch, connected to all three lamps, if one lamps working its not the ****** switch is it.
