Think I might bin my lamin-X...

As the title really.... I've had lamin-x tints on my dipped xenon headlights since the summer and love them but now it's winter and I actually need to use my lights I'm not loving the reduced light output, anyone else thinking the same?

Always makes me laugh when people spend an arm and leg on super bright bulbs and xenon's then stick lamin-x over them !!....how cool is that ?

I wondered if I was doing it wrong, all the A3's I've had have had shyte headlights, couldn't understand why anyone would make them dimmer.

That said, McDonalds car parks are usually fairly well lit, which probably explains why people don't see much difference, right?

Standard bulbs and no lamin x? Bright bulbs and lamin x. = the same. But lamin x looks better than no lamin x

Just remember though - it's going to start getting lighter very very soon......

I removed my headlamp film and just kept it on the fogs.

Another idea (well, the sort of thing i'd probably do!) - buy another set up headlamps for winter use!!!

They only reduce light output by 5% .

Ok so I washed my car this afternoon... Turns out most of it was because of the thick build up of salt on top of the lamin-x... God I feel such a douche! Looks like I'll keep them afterall... Hahaha!
