I had a go in new A5 S line the other day and the thing that caught my eye was the S line badge on the steering wheel, and I thought I could do somthing like that with to my sports wheel, so when I got home I did a sertch on Flee bay and came up with S line badge (item no 160341521975) £13.99 so I bought it. Looking aat the picture on the advert it didnt look that thick so I though it would be easy to sand the back right down and just glue it onto the wheel, its arrived today and its quite thick and curved to follow the shape of the wheel here is a pic

I then decided to sink the badge into the wheel so measured it up and began cutting into the wheel, this is not a mod I would recomend for the faint hearted, I cut from lug to lug then made an imprint of the badge then cut from corner to corner in a cross. pulling the leather back I dug out the foam then pushed the leather back inside the hole blobed a but of Glue round the edge then pushed the badge,

good idea.
does that replace a badge ?

btw i'd get some leather cleaner and treat that wheel it looks super shiny!

think the wheel is meant to look shiny mines is the same so i hope it is lol

No it gives it the OEM look I dont want to clean anything till i have completed the interior due to contamination,

Thought of doing something similar myself - well to the extent of sticking a badge on anyway. Not sure I can cut into the wheel! If I get it wrong, I'm dead!

i have got a 3 spoke sport wheel that i no longer need (now have genuine s line wheel) so if someone does mess up the option is there to get another wheel
