Hi Guys...
New to the Audi Scene moved over from a civic.

Currently Rolling in an Audi A3 1.9TDI SE (I know basic)
Looking for some modding in the near future when I pick up some money!

Here it is....Be gentle




Im from Bristol so anyone on here from there?

Cars nice,it may be basic but trust me with this forum that can easily be changed! im sure your very pleased to be part of the Audi scene :D

anyhow, the SE is indeed quite a basic model (no offence intended). might help to tell us what spec you DO have tho?


top of my mod list would be:

1. S-Line bodykit incl. fog lights
2. "Sport" seats (can be had relatively inexpensively if you look hard enough!)
3. bigger alloy wheels (!)
4. a nice set of springs to lower the car a tad

haha thats a bit of an understatement!! but apart from us being very god at spending your money if you every have ay problems there is always a long list of of people willing to help an give advice

we all started somewhere mate, youll find we are a friendly lot and always willing to help and very very rarely take the **** unless its something spectacularly bad... the alcantara covered engine bay springs to mind that really got some 'discussions' going

it will be a good chance to see how things look on similar cars and that way you can get a better idea of what you want to do, its good as well to chat to people about the things they have done as you can see if the work involved is worth the result

Andy dont let that put you off. As said we all start some where and its more of just a meet to chill and have a good look around the vag cars :) its not a show so dont worry and get yourself over there ha

Hold on a minute mate - SEs should have auto lights/wipers and coming/leaving home lights as standard. The alloys you have are for the "standard" model as well - did you buy it recently? If it was advertised as an SE I'd be taking it back and asking some questions

Anyhow as all the above have said we all start somewhere! Just don't paint your car pink and give it a matching alcantara engine cover with replica wheels and RS3 badges and you should be fine! Just don't park next to N8's car or you might feel bad lol
 
Uh well i looked into it and it is an SE my V5 which came Yesterday WAHOOO says it is...my insurance says it is too so im unsure...and sadly no it doesnt have those options...oo also want the armrest..... :D
haha i think i will just park mine in the furthest corner and walk over ;)

Something's definitely not right mate. For that age of car SEs had an arm rest, auto lights/wipers DIS, climate control and concert II single slot CD player and CH/LH as well as 16" alloys in a different design to the 15" ones your car has

Doesn't sound like you car has any of those things... it's not an SE mate
 
I personally would just do the 1.9TDI

But others will advocate getting rid of everything (including the rings!) up to what you think looks best really

In regards to your model spec there are a few ppl on here with PDFs of all 8Ps from when they were launched. Ask for the right one for your model year and check the standard spec against what your car has

Get rid of the A3 and 1.9 looks much fresher and clean:happy: The only way to be:icon_thumright:

:laugh: he did probably one of the worse i've ever seen i think a whole 2 or 3 pages of it!

Yes he did and he went to Audi Drive:happy: Not seen him active since last year though
 
oopps haha it did look ****** awful tho!
you can get away with most things, but seriously that wasnt a good look!
