Delivery times

Doesn't seem a bad price but when I saw the brokers.. I know what I would do!

Drive The Deal quote £21808.16 with a £2241.85 saving on this car - Excluding the upgraded paint (510). I'm not sure if this includes the 12 month tax, as I had to upgrade from 6 months to 12 months.

So taking into account the stealers, your saving (including options and paint) about £1,800 - £22300 - £700 off the dealers. Yes, you might have to do a couple of hours journey, but is well worth doing!!

Just a tip, why don't you E-Mail all the local dealers? I had the most look with Stockport Audi, but didn't bother in the end and used the Broker.
 
Does anyone know by anychance how long it take for a car to be built, and reach the UK? Just wondered!! :)
 
looks like my order for my a3 black edition will be cancelled-lease company is telling at least 6 months- company policy is 6 months wait- back to the drawing board for me.

some sportbacks are taking 8 months.

god knows what i want now !
 
Just needed some suggestions!

I had a confirmed build week of 04 - 24th Jan. I just wondered, I asked the lady on the phone about the build week changing, and she said because it has been confirmed, it won't change. I was thinking of phoning up (as the dealership is a couple of hours away) and seeing everything was going to plan with the status - towards the end of the week?

Also, IF everything does go to plan, on average how long will it take for it to come over, and be ready in the UK? As I am looking at picking it up either on the 13th March or the 20th.

Any suggestions?

Will the addition of open sky, s-tronic and full leather delay the delivery in anyway? I have a confirmed build week 7 and not sure when to expect delivery.
 
I'm getting slightly fed up with the arrogant attitude of Audi here in the UK. I'm seriously considering contacting Audi's head office for Europe. I've tried Audi Uk, although very pleasant they know less than the dealer and can't assist with anything, so usless.

I'm getting a weekly update by email about my order from the fleet management department of the dealership where the car has been ordered from. But this is only a simple spreadsheet with basic details and when I email them back with questions and my concerns as to the build and delivery times etc they don't reply! According to my order the car is 4 weeks from being built but the build date is still "un-confirmed" so I'm pretty fed up. I hope its worth the wait!!

Even though my car is a lease car through my company I pay the majority of the lease costs from my contributions towards the vehicle not my company. So far Audi haven't offered me anything for the delays etc, I did enquire after reading on this thread that those experiencing delays have been offered discounts etc, as I said they don't even respond to my emails!

So far I'm not a very happy with my Audi experience. One thing about it, my experience with Audi has spread throughout the sizeable company I work for and all others who are ordeering lease vehicles are choosing other makes such as BMW etc so in the long run it is their loss and the local dealers loss!

Has anyone got any ideas what I can do, does anyone have contact details for Audi worldwide or Europe, or who is best to contact?
 
Yes, I can see where your coming from! I wish they would phone me.. instead of me phoning them.

When did you order? Is it a Black Edition, or/aswell as a sport back?
 
FWIW, with regards to delivery times, it does seem to be the BE specifically that suffers more than other models. My car was a factory build (see sig for spec) and was less than four months from order to delivery. Sourced via Yeovil Audi by the lease company.
 
My order was placed ant the end of July last year and it isn't for a black edition, mine is a 140bhp S-Line with metalic paint and no additional extras.
 
Mid July... Build week 6 for us now. Not sure I like Audi making so many cars they are getting to be more common than VW's!!
 
I've ordered BE sportback in Early Jan from main dealer in Whetstone. I've had a week 8 build confirmed on a 170 manual. Was told a auto would be June delivery. Is this the quickest build in Audi history? Think the long builds are related to haggling success !

By the looks of your picture you have ordered the same as me and have been told the same build week!! It will be interesting to see if they build similar cars together or if they genuinely have a just in time build process.
 
Happy to check when we get them . You getting Open Sky Quattro?
