Hi folks, gonna be removing my rear bumper to fit the s-line diffuser soon.

Is it an easy job to remove the back bumper?

Can anyone offer any advice or a guide on how to do it? How many screws etc?

really would appreciate some help,

thanks

Sammy

Sorry should have said it's a 2008 a4 b8 saloon. If you could send the instructions to sduk @ hotmail . com that would be great.

Thanks very much. Had a check there and don't seem to have the email yet.

Does anyone know if it's an easy job? I'm hoping the diffuser is easy enough to clip out

hi got the email, thanks very much, what programme do you use to open the file? I am on windows XP and tried to download a .xps viewer however cannot find one that works. any ideas?

thanks again for your help. really appreciate it :)

Hi ya Axios,

Can you kindly email me the same file too please? My email is puccibuy at g m a i l dot c o m

Thanks!

thanks for the email, got it! managed to download a mozilla firefox addon to view it aswell!

its pretty complicated viewing tho!

can anyone who has removed the rear bumper offer any advice or help for me?

thanks :)

From my Witter towbar instructions......

Remove Bumper
Remove boot floor mat and side storage boxes, remove the plastic nut inside each wheel arch
beneath light clusters, remove the rear plastic panel and the plastic grommets to reveal 1 nut each side, remove nut
taking care not to drop it inside, remove the 2 torx head fixings securing the luggage strap retainers.

Remove the fixings along the lower edge of bumper and the screws around each wheel arch.

As you pull it off you need to flex the wheelarch part outwards a little.

Its a 2 man job, before you start, set out a cloth to put it on.... or put it on the lawn.

Good job mate, no problem at all

Saloon or Avant?

Edit:=- I can email you the instructions from Elsawin if you would like.

Could you email me those instructions as well ? I have an AUDI A4 2009. Not sure if it is compatable with that as well.

Remove boot floor.
Remove boot sides, disconnect 12v socket from right side.
Remove mud flaps if fitted.
Unscrew large plastic extended screw and remove light cluster each side.
Remove the grommets in panel in boot below light cluster to reveal 1 nut each side, remove nut taking care not to drop it inside.
Remove 3 fixings around wheel arch, 3 torx and one trim pin fixings on lower edge and one plastic pin hidden behind each light cluster.
Unplug reversing sensor wire in right side compartment, it passes through a hole to bumper.
Pull bumper sides outwards from wheelarch and remove bumper, feed sensor wire out of hole.
