Just fitted mine, my n75 was a pig to refit (j valve) and seems a little stretched, took me about an hour too, and initial results seems good i took logs before so will log with it fitted when i can be bothered.
certainly feels more free flowing, but cant wait to get some serious revs into it, cant say ive noticed a difference in noise, but like said i have not pushed it yet...
Yes and thanks bill for the evolution...
well mine is an example of an unadulterated engine, whats the cost?
how much have you had to tweek the apy maps to allow correct fueling with these tips fitted??? is it essential?
it needs logging with wideband on dyno... 5% on wellys, but his is hybrid turbo and was hi-flow mani as well as 3inch tip also..
That's damn high for a stage 1 map Bill! What map is it? Results are looking very nice.

I'm on my iPhone, but will post the log tomorrow. How do I post a log?
I think this shows how effective the new TIP is
anyone fitted with just the tip onto a std air box?? im running a bmc cda (i no, i no, lol) but thinking of going back to std air box with pipercross element as was my previous setup, thing is i actually gained gs when i 1st went from std with pipercross to the bmc? but now thinking std air box for aperance reasons more then anything,
that fits really well what cone filter is that?? i have been thinking of something similar for some time
yeah just been having a read up, is there not a choice of JR filters for the s3 setup?? just woundered your part no' so i dont have to read through all 20 odd pages to find your filter lol
ok cheers matey, will give bill a call tomoz then just ordered my other bits need the filter nowNo part number in there mate... got mine from Bill...

Me and bill should be doing tests tomorrow, with non mapped s3, standard airbox, and then JR filter fitted too
Love reading about all this - still can't believe the gains! So blinking annoyed I need a service and Tires else I'd be getting myself one of these TIP's...
Out if interest Bill the open cone filter you recommend over the standard airbox when fitting the TIP - does this not suffer in the summer with it not being enclosed and the higher under the bonnet temperature? Or is it not really an issue.... <please don't think im trying to open a can of worms here I'm not just curious if you've done any logs with hotter temps if it can be done)
would the air not be getting hot as it has to pass through the turbocharger anyway before being cooled by the fmic? so only really from standing traffic you'd see higher intake temps, id have thought it be more important to get it breathing properly on turbo cars more then to cool the air going in
