Hey people, i have a problem that i noticed today when i was out for a drive, with the heating where you can set it at a different temperature either side of the car i noticed that the passenger side no matter what i set it at stays on hot, really hot. Does anyone know what the problem could be?

Many thanks

Gav

you could have an air distribution flap motor stuck.
Have a search on here, its quite a common problem..

Its worth a look in the heating/aircon section too as I'm sure I've seen this before on here.

remove the glovebox and you will see the flap arms attached to the motors.
Use the aircon controls to direct the air from the footwells to the windscreen, you should see the motor
move the arms.
Motors are known to stick, I believe its a lack of lube on the cogs, I have seen a post somewhere where
someone took the motor apart and greased the cogs.
