So thought id share with you guys my little findings on the above.

Having read a thread about a month ago about injector cleaners, i decided to try the BG 44K cleaner.

All i can say is, it's the best £20 i've ever spent.

The stuff comes literally in a coke can with a ring pull, poured into a empty tank then filled up with 60 quid worth of juice.

So far ive used half a tank and mpg's has gone up on average driving by 4mpg, so im now averaging 30mpg town driving. The car picks/spools up alot faster, revs more freely, and the best part is, it pulls like a motha fooka :) in any gearer, it's like a duracel bunny, just keeps wanitng togo and go lol.

The difference is unreal and i still havent fully ran the product through it's cleaning cycle, says it's worked to it's full potential by the second tank of fuel, i.e next fill up.

I'll keep you all posted.

Just use v-power it does the same thing over time. cleans some of the build up in the head.

Have been/do use v power mate, this still made a difference :).

I used injector cleaner a couple of times, for me i didn't really notice the difference though it may be the case that i didn't really have any build up as its always been run on V-power, definitely worth a shot for those that haven't tried though!

I used Wynns Injector Cleaner last year as my car failed MOT on emissions! The MOT guy said put that into the tank and drive on the motorway for a few miles and come back. The car felt so much better and way more responsive! Got back to the MOT place and it passed straight away!

It's been a year and MOT is due next week so i might do this today. Is it the same as injector cleaner? Where did you get it from?

I was told to use Wynns rather than Redex because Redex is crap lol. That's what i was told by a few people so i chose Wynns :meeting:

How does Redex compare to Wynn's etc?

It's all the same basic stuff guys.... It all does the same thing.

They are mainly made up of the same stuff - there are so many brands these days.

X2 on the above.

I must use some every couple of months.

Just for piece of mind :)

If the BG 44K is £20, Redex is £2.99 in Asda (£6 in Kwikfit!) so I know which i'll be trying..!
redex is rubbish, ive heared of people putting it in before mot emmisions and then they fail as a reslut. its good for older cars with no cats but its no good for cat cars... id buy the better stuff for the cost of a new cat if it failed

Ah. Should've read this first. Just put the Redex in (£2 in Asda, not £2.99 as I said above!)...
MOT not 'til October, so will probably have sports cat on by then anyway. If not then ****** cat is a good excuse to buy the sport cat!

For better result turn arounds use 1/2 a tank mix, I would go with Wynns as with above it worked for me previously.
