I'm with quattrojames on this one, MTM RS6, practicality AND epic performance.....

money no object hmmm i would have a mk2 golf made out of carbon firbre then add a r36 engine twin turbo it and then supercharge it aswell oh and 4wd ..yes it will it will all fit in there.... power should bearound 1000bhp 200mhp easy and all that in a golf... should see off any super car...and my other car zonda f or a lambo sv

I'm
Going old skool it would be a 1967 corvette stingray coupe with a big block chevy twin turbo pushing around 1400 bhp the style (google images if you don't no what it is) and the power to restart a whole world from stand still and all that tech from the late 60's with a modern flat out twist or failing that a ford f100 pickup with a nutcase big block ford with twin turbo and laughing gas to and a b5 (sorry boys) 2.7 rs4 for my run about beat that fella's

Porsche speedster!! Then I would go to Audi HQ and design my own range of cars!!!

Peugeot 205 t16 rally car to get away from the old bill, fast as fxck on and off road.

Porsche 911 turbo with the full gemballa kit or techart kit, plenty of rear wing and 20 " split rims

If money was no object then we would all get bored with cars, then you'd start on the ho's drink and drugs and then end up back in the cars we have now ...........................................yeah right bring on the lotto

Cheers Jay

To be fair thou most if not all the above are slower than my mates ride, The GUMPERT APOLLO that owned the Top Gear lap record ( the very same car that was on the show ) till not to long ago, i still remember doing over !!! 160 mph on the M6 toll road Quiet simply the FASTEST car i've ever been in......

The new RS3 for mondays,RS4 for Tuesdays,RS5 for Wednesdays,RS6 for Thursdays and V10 R8 for the long week end .What a fantastic week that would be but might have to squeeze the Impreza WR1 in somewhere as well as the Sierra cosworth RS500 and a ****** great big garage to park them all in.

if money was really no object, then you'd have at least two, mine would be:

runabout: Vantage v8 Roadster or R8 spyder

practicality car: RS6 avant or S5 Sportback (I'd probably err on the side of the S5 though)

I'm lucky enough to be able to say I already have my dream ride. A 1972 911 that I bought 7 years ago, after decades of dreaming, saving and researching.

Here we are in the Alps, on our way back to the UK from Sicily, where I was filming the Targa Florio centenary celebrations :photo:

Hey Yappy: If you like the Vette, you'll like something that I filmed at Spa 6 Hours a couple of years back. We
get pretty close to the Vette around 4.40:
