parts like that are very easy to do that to, i had a Facelift headlight TT headlight switch that i put on ebay, little did i know that they are top MOD for the A3/S3 8P and a bidding war started on the thing lol

where as going into buy that from TPS would have been half the price

Mine was damaged in the snow so I could do with a new one, I've resecured it for now but it's a little bit worse for wear so I need a replacement ideally.... going from the thread title I am guessing I can get one for much less elsewhere!!???

It's a Leon Cupra R splitter. You can buy it from a Seat dealer for around the £20 mark?

Thanks for the info, it looks very similar to what is on mine at the moment..... is the Seat one a million miles away from the standard S3 one??? I imagine Audi are going to be considerably more exoensive if I march in there and ask for an S3 one from them.....

it was never a standard s3 item. its only off a seat cupra. no audi.

I'm not sure what S3 splitter you're on about? Have you got a pic of it? That would help.

I got suckered into buying an lcr splitter when I got my car but it was £40 and £10 P+P and I never fitted it

He's been selling them on eBay for 3 or 4 years at least.

The pic on the ad is of a member's car, which from memory the seller got from the site. He did, eventually, get the permission of the owner of the car to use it!

i paid about £17-£20 for mine from SEAT,
that was on my old car, not got a splitter on the S3.. did it have one as standard?

i had a guy of ebay use a pic of my car listing an s3 as breaking, i didnt no anything about it till i had a pm on here asking if i was splitting my car.... onto ebay and after about 4 compliants it got removed!! i was not haapy with that at all

as for the lcr price i have seen loads of stuff on ebay go for loads more the oem prices. the tt pedals normally go for around £50 2nd hand there £30 new from audi/tps
