Hi guys,

Just putting a feeler out to see if we can get some numbers together for a rolling road day at Wallace Performance, Aberdeen. Dates yet to be confirmed, but thinking about Sat 22nd January 2011.

They have recently moved to a new facility in Aberdeen and have installed a 4wd Dastek rolling road. I have only ever heard of good things about Dastek rolling roads, they claim to be the most accurate...

Want to see how much your car is putting out? You’ll not find a more accurate chassis dynamometer in the UK. Power runs include print-outs of your power and torque curves, as well as boost and AFR

Anyway cost will be between £30-£40 depending on numbers for 2 power runs, including power at wheels, flywheel, torque, and AFR. If you are interested, put your name down on the list below, I'll ask across various forums to see if we can get a wide range of VAG vehicles.

Never had it on a RR before, so will be interesting.

Edit: If I don't bring the S3 I might take dad's V8 - i've always wanted to know what that's putting out!
I would take my MG but it's fresh from an engine rebuild and revving the nuts off it isn't an option.

Update....

Rolling road is booked for Saturday 22nd January. Wallace are wanting to run the FWD cars first followed by the 4wd cars so I have compiled the list below. If anyone has an issue with the timings, let me know and I'll see if I can swap things around.

Times are approximates and I have allowed 25mins per car. Obviously timings may slip a little if people fail to turn up or things take longer or shorter than thought but rough timings and order of play is as below..

Hi mate, slots are limited now and timings are tight. I've managed to squeeze you in on the end at 16:35, can you confirm this is okay for you? Additionally, it would be better if you can bring the S3 as that's 4wd. Saying that what transmission drive is the V8? Is it RWD? If so, shouldnt be a problem running it after all the others. Can you confirm time is okay for you as we are getting really limited on speaces
