I only recognised this the other day ...so excuse me if I'm late. If you look at the two lights below When looks darker round the edges then the other. is one of them a S3 or S-line version or some thing?

there's now THREE sets of lights. the ones on the top are the MY11 onwards lights. i prefer the MY09 (bottom) ones personally

Haha yeah they were my first mods how embarrassing!
No excuse i was a kid (well even more of a kid then i am now). Didnt know anything about Audi's, makes models wasnt into cars at all just liked the look of the 8P. Sprayed my grilles a dark grey to go with the colour of the car, S-line badges and fitted MY09 and S3 alloys. Then once i knew a bit more i released how silly i was being and took the badges off

Cheers got you now. I knew about the 09 lights and the older ones. Hadn't realised about the newer ones! Quite a subtle change though, is the darker surround the only difference, other than that they look same to me

Think the car colour is big factor in which of the 09 or 11 lights look best, for my car the 11 would be too dark but that white at the top looks perfect with them

Thanks for the Picturesbenskin07. I wished I'd bought the darker 11 lights now. As it's looks better with my Black 2.0 TDI. I'm also waiting for these M.O.D People out there or company's to come up with a L.E.D Version. As there is already a L.E.D version for the OLD 1's. 2003-2008.

Yeh got a Black 2.0 TDI With Auto lights and Mirror Dimming. I sold my other car to my Mum as it was really hard to sell.....plus it drank to much petrol for me ......that's why I got a TDI. Some lady cashed into the side after having it only a week the other day ...Getting repaired thou....should be back with me next week. I'm also doing a S3 Conversion. These are the piceces I have already: Bonnet,S3 Bumper Rear & Front. Black Grill. I just need to get my S6 L.E.D's and Rear Spoiler and side skirts. And new front Lights.

Sounds like you got some good plans just dont put S3 badges on it

Don't worry no S3 is going on my A3 Unless it has a 2.0 TFSI Engine....
I'm also getting these LED'S:ORIGINAL AUDI S6 LED TFL TAGFAHRLEUCHTEN KOMPLETT SET ! on eBay (end time 27-Jan-11 15:48:41 GMT)
As it comes with the Control modular so it dims at night and so don't blind people on the road.

I bought mine about three weeks ago, and got them fitted this week as I had to wait until I visited a fellow forum member to carryout the coding. They have really updated the rear of the car. Expensive mod, but glad I did it!!
All 3 are the same price. The 3dr ones I got from Audi new for £165ish. They have all the bulbs in, so plug and play

Sub was close they 3door lights are £168 for a set and £7.50 shipping but increased due to the vat. And that goes for MY09 and MY11
All three sets in my photo yes as long as yours is a 3door and not a sportsback.
