black roof rails

anyone got an idea how much the black roof rails cost? plus are they easy to fit? i have aluminium ones on my SB but want to put the car in full black inc. grille, rings etc. if anyone wants to exchange let me know, more than happy to do business :thumbsup:

My dealer told me they would retro fit RRs for the same price as Factory fit... £225. Black or Alu. We have had Alu on last 2 8P A3SB and they look great BUT on the BE in order you can only have Black.

i got a similar price from a Audi dealer of £225 but no luck with the exchange. you interested? happy 2011 to everyone btw!!!

Not really, we don't do modding and if the BE is only produced with Black Roof Bars that's what we are having, Shame really the Alu ones really look good on Black cars.

Only really buying a BE for the Bose, Tints and FBMFSW really and should retain value better longer term. To be honest the standard S Line looks good to me!

Will keep my eyes open for Alu RR's. Quite looking forward to BE, actually my wifes car but tend to use regularly when more seats are needed.

Was wondering whether to wait for new A3 cos of the wait but hopefully it will be worth it.

That's what they told me 'fitted' . It was when they were trying to source a car that didn't have them so maybe a del to be done.

I have silver ones too mate and want optic ones to complete the look I'm going for..

i might kno some1 whos interested in swapping his black roof rails for chrome (il try gettin in touch with him 2mro night).. and as for taking them of etc.. i should be gettin my roof chopped of some time soon (pan roof conversion open sky) and am going to put my roof rails on to the new roof.. soon as i get it started il take a look for you il post it up on here ..
