I was thinking that, as much as I like my 'Rimz' now I want something else that will help it stand out, might go down the MTM route and get them refurbished as I mentioned

what about something like them bbs ch finnished in smoaked chrome buy the wheel specialist in birmingham ?

I would but I got no side on shot of my car and at the moment it's covered in 8" of snow so it'll be a while before I get chance

Right, I've had the chop done and I'm convinced. The MTM's look excellent in black with the detail in white
 
This very lovely A3 :wub: has 8.5x19 ET48 A6 wheels with 225 35 19 tires...but would a 235 35 19 fit this car (at it's current height) without rubbing?

The reason I ask is because I also bought a set for next summer, but I don't want my tires to be to stretched...I'm still undecided on the right tire size, so any help would be greatly apprciated :thumbsup:

225s are perfect on an 8.5, 235s will rub.
 
3mm thats very specific lol, you know if that was the limit he could reach before it catchs ?

yaeh you'll never get those to fit onto an A3. they're 21" and they're 10J or something ridiculous.
 
Lmao!!! @ "even using photoshop" I know they (originals) don't fit, but they have them in... Dare I say, reps 19" x 9J so I'm told. I think they would look good on an SB but that's in my imagination, real life is usually a different story :wacko:

the stance is propa bang on!!

Ash u want yours lower!! already looks pretty slammed, but agree u need spacers ;) 10's & 12's will sort you out nice tho think you would get a crazy amount of rubbing!!

the spacers i put on mine are one of my fave mods, really finishes off the stance

Stance is perfect on that S3. Lol yeah only the front a bit more, dont want the rear any lower. Yeah i want spacers but only gonna get a set for the front. As i like the tucked look on the back and dont want to have to raise the rear just to put spacers on. Maybe one day when im bored.
Yeah if i put any spacers on the back i'll get rubbing and may have to change my tyres aswell. Touch wood had no issues yet :)
