Just bought some 19s of ebay.
They were advertised as 19" 8j et45 112 pcd. When they arrived they were et 42. I'm putting 225/35/19 tyres on them. I did my research as my car is lowered 50mm on eibachs and I dont want any rubbing issues. Et45 came up as the safest bet.
What do you guys think will these rub? If so I'm sending them back.
Why do people lie it just inconviniences everyone involved.
Merry Christmas anyway.
Mike

id make sure b4 you fit the tyres as they will refuse the refund if tyres have been fitted
i think you may get away with 42's

nightmare that mate, as said make sure before tyres...have you contacted seller to inform of the mistake?

If there are no good, send them back ASAP, as you wont be happy with them.

If they are 8J then you hould get away with ET42, if they were 8.5J (like most 19" reps) then i'd be worried!

BBS CK are ET44 so maybe 42 might just be ok..good luck!

Thanks for all the help guys, the wheels are going back as im not risking it.
They were described as audi concept alloys, theres a set on ebay now advertised with the right offset!
Cheers again,
Mike

I very much doubt these replicas are available in both ET42 and ET45, it will be one or the other. The description is likely to be wrong and as proved, they are likely to be ET42. To most people not lowering they wouldnt be able to tell the difference.

ET42 tend to be from the very low end of the replica market where they make just one wheel spec to fit both the A3/Golf 5 chassis and the A4/Passat chassis. The better replica producers put some effort in and make a ET45 for the A3/Golf and an ET35 for the Passat/A4

Those are Golf R replicas, were you aware? They do look similar to the Audi RS6 ones to be fair!

Yep Lee_R is right, also used on the New Scirocco R as well as my mate has one with them on!
Personally I'd say they had been mis-described as so called "audi concept alloys"

Hope you get it sorted!
