Wing Mirrors stolen again!!!!!

Hi Guys,

I drive a Silver Audi S3 07 Reg.

I don't post on here often but look in from time to time for advice. Last year my chrome wing mirrors and glass were stolen on Xmas Eve. This year it's happened on Monday night!

Sick as ****. I wouldn't care but the ones on this year were the £65 look a likes from Germany off Ebay.
They have also taken more care to get them off this year aswell. My door handle cover is also loose so I think they may have had a go at getting other accessories.

If anyone else in the North East has had a similar thing happen over the last few nights let me know as the police are looking at a few similar incidents.

Also just happens the gypsies have moved back within a few miles.

The wife wants us to get an A1 instead with body coloured wing mirrors


If anyone is selling their genuine wingmirrors let me know, if anyone is offered any be careful as they maybe stolen imitations.

Sorry to hear that mate. Sounds like a nightmare twice in under a year! Feel for you, sounds like they be after other bits aswell if they tried your door handle. May be best just to get colour coded wing mirrors. Once again sorry to hear this

did they cause any damage while taking the wing mirror? Dont blame you, thought about cctv?

Our area is pretty good, 3 S3s within about 500 yards, my house is second in from the end of the street so makes easy get aways possible. I'm looking at moving to a bigger house shortly with a proper double garage so cctv isn't on my agenda.

i agree with ash on this i would get some standard colour coded ones as s3's seam to be a huge target for the alum covers i know that your car is silver but im sure you can tell the difference bettween the alum and painted ones also as ash said get some cctv on the go as it is worth the money even if you are moving to a new house it can stil be used on your new house/garage

Ahh thats fair enough 3 S3's in 500yards! Have they had any problems? There one or two S3's in my whole area and then not that many in the city i'd say either. Good luck on the move aswell

Hi again, 3 S3s of different colours, one is someones son who lives elsewhere but often turns up for a week at a time.

Hi live in a village near stockton and some one nicked my passenger one and the drivers one was hanging off, I discovered it on the 28th andthe police told me one in billingham had them pinched a couple of nights earlier. Looks like somebody is collecting them, I'm thinking about painting them both gloss black when I get a replacement as I'm going to get the wheels black aswell soon.

The new ones have arrived and are being painted up the same silver as my S3.

I just went to teesside Audi and bought them from the parts department.
