350bhp

Slightly off topic, but what's the best time anyone has got out of their S3 with K04 on it. non hybrids :)

Between 14.4-14.6 is considered a good time for a stage1 8L S3, but I remember one member who got 13.9, think he might have been running stage 2, with rear seats and bit n bobs taken out to remove some weight.

don basically your car looks brill, your engine mods are even better brilliant mate, unfortunetly their are some real dicks on here that are so childish and jellous, you must be very proud of your car mate i wish it was mine.

Wow, a man with an opinion, I guess everyone elses opinion just doesn't count so long as we have you here. :uhm:

i haven't seen any bad comments towards the car apart from someone saying the outside wasn't to their taste, stating that its down to individual taste.

personally, i don't like the wheels or the TTu badge - but the rest of it is fine. thats my opinion though and it's not my car - it's his and done to his own taste.

everyone is different end of the day.. some people like big bodykits some like the O.E look..

I however like to see proper sleepers, clean OE cars with massive power

very confused by this thread

Impressive power figures. Not keen on the skirts myself, but atleast you havent tried to make it look like an s3. How come it has a TT style exhaust?

you got a hot turbo ?

anyone know a reasonably priced clutch and flywheel kit for a 1.8T quattro they could recommend ?

Hello, You use Forge Splitter. Is it true? I use too.
But, i guess your setup is wrong. You need to discharge air from side pipe.

"This valve requires installing the opposite way to the original Bosch Valve. i.e. the side pipe is fitted into the Turbo Intake Hose and the base pipe connects to the hose that runs to the boost side of the turbo."

Maybe i know wrong? When i plug it the same as you , i get sound like "fituvv" full boost. When the plug side pipe to intake, there is no sound.

I had it fitted by backdraft Motorsport I would have thought they could set it up right. The turbo boosts up fine but if anyone else thinks this is wrong please let me know and I'll start looking in to it.

My D/V is recirculation only and no blow off the only sound I get is the wastegate chatter.

Mine is too for full recirculation. But i installed it side pipe to intake, bottom pressure pipe to boost.

Lovely car mate, very rare a bodykit looks right on an A3 but that's spot on.

Would personally lose the TTu badges front and back, would look a lot cleaner but that's just personal preference.

Any more plans for it?

pistons, rods, 1.9 bore, subtle cage, lighter bucket seats, some carbon body panels sprayed silver for that sleeperish look, haldex controller, R888's

before spending a crazy fortune on R888's, I'd suggest checking out Federals 595 RS-R's. they're a very similar trackday tyre, which reportedly last twice as long as R888's, offer almost the same grip, and cost half the price!

They're what I'll be using on the track car.

Are your seats on the standard rails at the moment? If you've caging it, you might want to look into getting the seats a bit lower to keep you away from the bars

Great looking and performing machine :). Where in Surrey are you from? I'll keep my eye out but I think I'll just pull over if you're ever behind me...for now ;)
