Hi all, first time poster on here. Just cot myself an S3, 59 plate with the 2009 sat nav dvd, Does anyone know if there are update discs that have the speed cameras added?

My friend has an M3 and found that someone had programmed the latest disc and was firing out copies for 25 notes a pop. Does anyone know if this is available for the audi MMI?

Thanks J.

As far as I know Audi do not have a nav disc with the camera locations but I could be wrong!

Is the 2010 Nav disc available?

Anyone have a download for it?

I don't know what ver I have got. I am sure the 2010 will be available on newgroups when launched.

2010 Disc has no cameras as others have stated.

Anyone looking for a 2010 disc though, gimme a pm i can sort you out :)

I test drove a new S3 a while back and that had 30mph areas marked which is more than my 2009 disc does in my 2007 rnse. Best thing to do is stick to the speed limit and it dosnt matter where the camera's are then

I have a new set of genuine 2011 dvd's up for grabs, pm for info.

I think this is what you are looking for: navPOInt - custom POIs for your Audi SatNav

Was looking at this a few weeks ago but decided it's just not worth it.

£75 for the full programme and all it will do is show cameras (or other POIs) on the map display - it won't warn you about them so, unless you want to drive around looking at the map screen all the time just in case, it's rather pointless.

If it was £20-odd I might have had a punt but no way at £75.

I have to agree tbh, its almost like the icons for garages, audi dealers etc, I dont even bother to look at these, so for me £75 seems to rich to not have some form of warnings audibly, although good they broke the encryption on the dvd's, question is, will it work on the 193 units mapping aswell, I'm gonna go ask Stuart that actually.

Can think of other things to crack on the car tbh.

Dont worry its xmas day, Ew has been on the home brew 90 proof whisky

90 proof !! lightweight Scotsman....Pass me my Methanol !

Now that stuff will blow you're head of.

Its a start though. I use the Nav with the view set to 400 yards and glance down occasionally. Quite often there are no cameras, but in case there are you can keep an eye out for them and watch your speed!

I like the new things on the 2010 Disk. Handy for instance if like me you only use V-Power the you'll know where the Shell stations are.

Anyone had a look at the 2011 and noticed changes?? Maybe 7 Digit postcode, or is that just too much to ask.

I have the 2011 disk. There are some new stuff on it, will have a look when i have time to note what they are.

Cant see any changes in mapping or even the new firmware. I think full postcode searching is a big ask, but it would be nice.

The RNS510 just got 7 Digit Postcode so someone somewhere is looking at these things I guess. Will we see it?? Who knows?

Have you seen any SDS firmware for the new (gloss black) units John?

I read threads on audiforums.us discussing the possibility of reflashing firmware chips after being removed from the motherboard. But no quick fix software hacks.

As I am outisde UK, pm me a post code and I will check on my 2011 DVD.

I have the MY11 and its not full postcode, they are so behind the times its untrue!

But it does have an annoying woman that says 'Please Prepare to approach a roundabout' about 1/2 a mile before. WHY, please WHY????

ta for the info fellas, probs have to stick with the tomtom then:(
