Hi guys

Im moving over from a S3 8L 225 in the new year just want to know if this bluefin remap tool thing is the best bhp for the cash on remaps etc.

Im sure i read somewhere it gives around 330-350bhp on a standard car for around £1000?

Anything else which is as good, in the future i will be doing the exhaust with either a cat back or sports cat or may even remove it all together, decent filter and maybe a bigger turbo what ever is recmommended really.

Gaz

a grand for a remap sounds a little expensive and i really doubt you will get that level of power from just a map without doing a couple other mods, if you look at my sig you will see what mines producing and the map ive got is a very strong map

thats the this, to get that level of power you will need at least a CAI as the normal induction system is way to restrictive
if your thinking of a new clutch im in the process of doing a group buy for the uprated Sahcs clutch, should have a price in the new couple days

Thanks Buddy

The Guy that does my tuning will be sorting my clutch when I need it. He knows a company that will make me one to suit my needs and will feel almost OEM but will take 50% more power.

ooo nice!!
time to get more power of your car then! my tuner does custom mapping as well, i was going to get the power upped in the new year when i completed my TBE, but now my clutch is slipping, had to re-think my plans :(

EDIT: ah just seen you guys uses a dyno dynamics... thats what mine uses haha, always a reassuring sign!

Hi there....the realistic maximum from an S3 with the stock K04 turbo is about 360-380bhp,and for that, you'd be looking at the following...

exhaust, cold air intake,HPFP,clutch and remaps, and the total would be approaching £4k in all.

You may also want to consider brakes and suspension.

If you're looking to about 330bhp,you can do that for about £1200,but you'd be needing a new clutch soon after.

A big turbo kit plus fitting will set you back over £4.5k,but you will need the brakes and suspension for that.

Software...I have nothing against Bluefin, but am very happy with Revo.
