What's that got to do with anything? You asked me to show you some... I was bidding on the one's I wanted - last set and was outbid, as Lee R above was.

Fact is that speedlines are not changing hands for 1K in the current market with/without tyres. That's the point mate... Look at edition or any other place that has sets sitting around to confirm that.

Anyway, this conversation is on the merry go round- not going anywhere fast! I think I delivered on what u may have though was ******** so we'll put it to bed now shall we?

Oh yeah, I ended up getting some mint 2nd hand reps (yer I know, you'll probably a lil in your mouth reading this ). Done a sweet deal, and got a price relative to what they're worth with me jamex coils (OK spit the first lot of puke out first ) I think the car will look pretty nice, all for less than OEM speedline dough with enough left for a FBSW

ive got to agree they arnt worth 1k. no ones saying it isn't possible to achieve 1k for them as people out there will pay that. ive also seen a fair few going for under 800. should of bought the set i seen in a salvage yard in bury for 200 which were 19's and 9's but wasn't to know i would have an a3 then.

They used to be, but more readily available now, but its all down to getting the right buyer who will pay the money for them.

I'm in agreement with ya warren, I think you could still sell em for top dollar, but are they actually worth top dollar considering current stock and demand.
