Hi all, i'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem! It seems to take ages to heat up the inside of my car,it's a 2000 model 180bhp. Needs a ****** long run before i can take the hat n gloves off:ninja: be grateful for any help:yum:

cheers gavin, didn't think of that, i'll defo look into it! was thinking of some outragously complex type of problem being an audi!

You're not that far off ! Thermostat is a belt off job wich will set-you back a good few hundred pounds !!!

The 2.5tdi V6 is know for cool runnings, mine barely moves from 60 in this weather, but a blast down the motorway gets it up to around 75/ 80 max. I've been told that they are very heat efficient and the exhaust takes away most of it. Wouldn't bother doing the thermostat unless at a belt change.
