nice car :) a bit of ice on the road there mate ;-) how did it cope with it on pure ice

The best crack I could have ever had! Just have to be careful and take it easy, but once I get onto a big carpark the road is mine! haha ESP off and take every corner in my estate sideways! :D Really good!

did you try it with ESP on at all or would it not move with it on just ask as there is a mix of ppl saying keep it on or turn it off

I only turn the esp off when i want to have some fun, I feel safer with it on, Its those that are spinning like mad that turn it off, have you ever seen them people trying to get up a little hill or bump with their boot stuck to the floor? When I am getting up an icy hill all I do is use the clutch only, don't even touch the accelerator, unless its a long hill then obviously you bring it up to 2nd gear but then keep it on as low revs as possible so that you use torque, not power :) Im not very experienced driver because of my age (18) but I have to say that Im managing alright now (touch wood nothing will happen).

well you have a grate looking car mate so im sure you will look after it

I agree. beautiful car mate. I also only take esp off if ******* about (and it's icey 6 months straight here). the only time i'd wish it was off is if i turn sharper than intended and it understeers a bit, it would be handy to be able to kick the back end round a bit, but there's no time to turn off the switch. Best just to remember to brake in advance and turn with a bit of power of course. The only way to guarantee traction on ice is studded tyres, which you can't really justify for a couple of weeks in the UK and Ireland eh?
Can I ask for tips on how you took those shots indoors by the way? They came out really well. I have a decent DSLR but i'm not very good using it yet, especially indoors when light is the key.

you'd probably have to talk to my cousin about that :p I know I was moving around the flashes, we had 3 of them all together and they were changed every time we took a different shot.

Studded tyres are illegal in Ireland and UK I think :p

one day i'll figure out what i'm doing and take a decent shot :)
I think studded tyres are legal but only on appropriate surfaces. so you'd be ok when it's very icey or snowy but i don't know if you'd get booked 10 miles down the road where the road's clear. I grew up in Portrush on the north Antrim coast and there definitely wasn't much need for them there.

That 1 photo is of my brother's passat, that's why it lights up blue :p

no codes with these light's I have the same to my A4

i have different lights than those that you showed, and yes, they do throw a fault. I soldered in a resistor in each light, have been working for the past 10k km so can't complain, the quality is very good, I even dropped one of them once and didnt break so I suppose :p

I want these for my Avant!

As far as I know there is no similar ones to an avant....

What you mean about my reg? Kind of don't get it :p

Mlody means young in my language, drog stands for Drogheda - town where I live now :D

Does anyone know if the FK l.e.d tail lights have built in resistors to stop the error message on the dis? Been looking at these for a while but can't be ***** with the hassle of soldering a resistor if they don't, no time for things like that anymore when you have small children to entertain!

Jesus, what hassle are you talking about? It doesn't take more than 20 minutes to solder them in!
