S3 Pricing..

Been looking at getting myself an , however I'm a little unsure about the pricing, seen such a huge range. Been looking at getting either 2001 or 2002.

Best I seem'd to have found would be something alone these lines, does this sound like a reasonable price, to consider going to have a look (obviously it might be different to advertised but as a starting point)

3 Doors, Manual, Hatchback, 210 bhp Petrol, 70,400 miles, Black with Silver leather interior, MOT & TAX 02-2011. 3 Owners FASH except last 2 services. At 67k miles car was Serviced + Cam Belt + 2 front tyres. Excellent condition throughout. No modifications - Pure S3. ABS, Central locking, Sunroof, Headlight washers, Silver Electric leather Recaro heated seats, Immobiliser, Audi BOSE sound system, Side airbags, Traction control, Drivers airbag, Electric door mirrors, Front electric windows, Front fog lights, Heated door mirrors, Isofix child seat anchor points, PAS, Remote central locking, Space saver spare wheel, Steering wheel rake adjustment, Steering wheel reach adjustment, Trip computer, Alarm, Body coloured bumpers, Insurance Group:18, Full document & receipt history from new. £6,000

Without going to see this car, having a drive and getting a good look under the bonnet etc does that seem like the right price range, so at least I have something to go on.

if that was my car id want 6k so yeh, seems about right, obviously haggle a bit, and provided its clean and as described, id say you have a crackin car there.

ive got a 02 in silver totally std with xenons, glass sunroof real clean looking for 6.5 if your interested. not in a hurry to sell as i like it but it just doesnt get used enough!not even advertised yet

Most of the options listed are as standard the only extra is the 'BOSE' and the 'no modifications' tag sounds like you have a un molested S3 but in reality you'll have to splash out to sort the ride and performance.
just an observation from what I have seen on AS.

I'm no geek but you could not get a higher spec 8L than an S3 and all I've met have had ecksy nons
