Mentioned to the Boss that it might be snowing this weekend and I have to drive to my Parents and he sorted me out one of these to drive.

The technology inside it is amazing!!! So little effort to drive and amazingly comfortable. I don't want to get back in my Audi now :(

Yep, indeed I am....

I don't hate my normal job to be fair. It gives me a lot of freedom and I'm all over the place on a daily basis. Drive the S3 around, and gets paid salary and mileage for it.

However, someone left our company, and I am covering for them for 3 months or so working for a firm of solicitors in Cheltenham. And frankly it blows.

which firm mate?

I use to really like my job, then it went stagnant so a bit of hate, then i move departments and i started to hate it due to the people in the office, they moved out, then i liked my job and now its not stagnant again as work has quieted down.
But the good thing is that every now and again i get to play with boats, guns, swords, secret stuff, find out the launch procedure for a tomahawk missle and some other stuff i should not really say. :D

sadly, i dont get to play with new range rovers or new cars. :(

I had a really enjoyable job for 30 years with a small but good BRITISH truck company, it was a pleasure to go to work and they payed me for it.

We were then taken over by a big GERMAN truck company and over a 9 year period the decline of the good job was quite severe until in the end i was glad to jump ship and leave the muppets to it.

2 years into early retirement and i still hear its like a muppet show.

Assuming you spend your time angling, I am VERY jealous!!

am i the only one surprised by the fact that you get a range rover due to poor weather and theres no snow around you? :p my road is like the trench run on the death star and i get to chose unpaid leave or take a holiday ;) envy aside though looks nice is it only temporary?
