i'm looking at getting a remap towards the middle of next month.

the answer i would like to know is who should i go for to get the best gains, i got a 1999 A3 1.8T (AGU 150BHP)
only mods i got is: Forge 007P, induction kit and front mounted intercooler

i have been looking into R-tech at the moment, as you seem to get a lot for the money and they claim to end up with good gains.

most people say go for Revo but the things which is putting me off is 1 the price and 2 is my mate got his LCR done by them and it just made it worse.

what maps do most people on here get, looking at something within a 30-40miles of kingsclere/newbury/basingstoke

thanks for any help
Jay

revo have 100 quid off till the end of the year ! booked mine for this weekend i own a s3 il let you know my thoughts

I have Revo software on my S3 and am very very happy with it, i got it with a show discount with the SPS switch included so you can tune it exactly how you want it. No map should make a standard car worse so i would blame the tuners for that one. Almost all the brands are good just make sure the guy actually doing the map is experienced with your car.
I would wait for responses from the guys local to you that may have experience of your local tuners.

r-tech ftw not just for the map itself which is awesome but for the support and thorough check of the car including dyno runs before and after with a smoth test if necessary

that is what is making me think its worth the traveling to go to them as they prove the gains and also to the engine health check

which i can't find anyone else who offers so much for the the same price

as said REVO is £100+vat off till Dec 31st
makes is a complete bargain.. whilst offer is on.

£199+vat regular price
Dyno is £45+vat
knock off revo's £100 = bargain

R-Tech gets my vote! lots of people have been raving about them, great value for money, great service, uber smooth map!
Which ever you decide im sure you will be happy, but R-Tech has my vote

Off REVO's website... for non dbw version.. you are thinking dbw version at the £350 level, which is £250 level until year end with REVO's offer

R-Tech.

Had recent experience with them, thier customer service and honesty is priceless. Most companies will just stick a map on your ECU atleast R-Tech will health check the car and engine and dyno it before they touch the ECU.

All for an unbeatable price i'd say!
