FAO NHN - Please send my mirror

Ok ladies, the offending mirror was sent some time back, Mr Heeman has confirmed receipt of the item & I suspect he will be along sometime this weekend after fitting & testing the unit, but I can 100% confirm the mirror was tested before sending & I know the 4 way movement & heated element work perfectly which makes up the electrics of the unit & everything was fully intact & undamaged, I even cleaned the ****** before sending which Heeman will be billed for.

I hope the mirror fits his corsa perfectly well :p

For me this issue has been resolved thus far.

I hope you realize that Heeman is in Somerset and they drive on the right....So a drivers side mirror is a left hand one..I'm sure it will break first time he looks in it anyway :)

Nigel - The crap weather has taken a hold down here, and since I no longer have a nice dry unit to work in, I need a guaranteed dry spell to remove the door card etc now. I need a proper workshop again!! :banghead: Maybe I could just take it round to Vauxhall and they'd let me fit it in their nice dry workshops...
 
LMFAO, yeah the ***** weather is hitting us tomorrow mate, if you need any pointers give me a shout, albeit at your expense this time :)

Im posting here to tell other members not to be put off asking Nigel (NHN) for help and buying parts off him because of this incident.
During the same time as the member heeman10 had ordered his mirror i too purchased a set of updated rear lights. From the off Nigel informed me that it was hard for him to find the time to post the lights because of his newborn, so i knew they might take longer than expected and to make things worse the first set he sent me were lost by the delivery guys.
I then saw this thread and found out about the other reasons why he didn't have the time to send the second set as quickly and if you've read them you'll realise that everydoby will put their family first, especially if selling Audi parts isn't even his day job (i hope, lol)
Finally when Nigel got some time he sent me out the second pair of lights and to make up for the long delay he sorted me out with a BRAND NEW set of MY11 lights, which he didn't even need to do.
So in the end i am VERY happy with this purchase and would not hesitate to buy anything else from Nigel again as i know he will keep his word and help out if anything goes wrong. I don't know Nigel personally and have only talked to him via email, but being a member of a variety of car forums and seeing a number off threads like this i dont want a genuine person gettin a bad label.

For future reference to anyone who needs an item ASAP remember that 99% of members selling things on here don't do it for a living and you might be better off getting it from a place that does to avoid dissapointment when more important things arise for the seller.
 
Thanks man, that means alot & tbh you deserved the upgrade & bnib ones as you waited for a fair while aswell & was extremely patient as was Heeman who I hope by now has fitted his Corsa mirror :p

Last time i was in Kent i thought i was really unlucky to have my mirrors nicked.....but then i lost 2 sets of rear lights as well...Witnesses said there were three suspicious looking characters seen , one appeared to be a chap in his late twenties and obviously the lookout The second seemed to be about 4 months old..female and carrying a huge set of plastic keys....the third was about 75 years old, dressed in black and sitting in a rocking chair called Gran, with an Italian accent and seemed to be in control of the operation. The three made off in a Black Fiat chincochento with blacked out windows...Last seen leaving Dover duty free shop with a large amount of Lager and Goat feed ! any ideas ?
 
LOL, you guys make me laugh.
The way i see it is everyone will post about a negative exerience to warn others but few will post about anything good.
 
we have a feedback thread over on vagoc for that exact purpose, use it for ebayers and forum members
 
The mirror is here!

Quick update to put this thread to bed. The mirror did arrive when promised this time, and is now successfully fitted to my car. It allows me to see objects which lie alongside, and behind my car, just as the seller promised. Job done.
 
Thanks for the update Mr Heeman, as promised, albeit very late but was delivered while back now, fully functioning, again I'm sorry for the trouble, but I had no intention to let you down overall, so, glad its resolved to a happy conclusion.
 
If Heman is ok with it then see no reason for this thread anymore, every ok with?
 
I don't mind this thread being deleted if you feel the need to do so :)
 
Not sure Paul, he managed to fit the corsa mirror ok, maybe he can do a writeup for us all as I see this becoming very lucrative.
