PICS of coilovers fitted at last!

As the title, fitted at last. Some will hate and moan, i dont give a ****!, I love it! Its going to be raised up about 15mm at the weekend and i'll be fitting the A8 mono's to see what there like. Will post some pics when there on

I am from a VeeDub back ground so any thing in the weeds is good

I recon you should pop a set of white 18's or some of nice big flat face rims like these to make it look proper evil........... get some one to photoshop some rims for ya

I personally dont think the Mono's will suit your styling of the car, i.e colour coded kit etc, although i havent seen them on yet so will wait to see, but they usually suit more less styled cars. Think a multi/chunky spoke wheel will suit it better.

Amazed with the change in the car since you started it, looks great, inspiring me to finally go get sum paint quotes lately!

Thanks everyone!, Mono's are black at the minute, picked them up last night. Gonna spray them white and chuck them on and see what it looks like. If they dont look very good i'm gonna sell both sets and invest in something decent, either maybachs or splits.

Went for the AP coilovers, as its as low as it can go its a bit bouncy but at the weekend i'll be raising it up to stiffen it. No rubbing as when was prepping for the respray i trimmed all the arch's, really pleased with it.

AP coilovers....... sounds very interesting, whats the ride like? how does it handle? I am very tempted in getting some coilovers for my B5 but i am not too sure which yet.

Only one thing that I think would improve it and that's removing the turbo badge but each to there own and all that.

love the colour, not sure about the rims though mate maybe when you put the mono's it will look better. that is well low, hope you got the 4 wheel alignment sorted shortly or you wont have much tread on them tyres.

is it a full RS widebody conversion as summin dont look right in the first pic. it must be the halfords turbo badge mind.

Cheers. Colours called VW candy white, what the new golfs and scirocco's are. And the badge is not from halfords thanks, its a genuine porsche one. The only thing i'd buy from halfords is an air freshener!

Each to there own eh! Didn't cost me a penny, apart from the parts. My dad owns a bodyshop where i've worked for the last 9 years so i done all the work myself apart from the spraying which i left to the painter. For all the work that was carried out we would have charged around £3000 so i had a right result. I'm actually quite proud of it, getting alot of positives from it so i'm chuffed!

Cant make it saturday, i'll be busy at work prepping the mono's and winding up the coily's!

Not too keen on the lights either, bit max powery. Wanted lights with black inserts and they came up, may sell them and go for facelifts again.

Nice mate, looks great. I played with a few B5's a few years a go, heres one of mine which I dropped on coilovers but kept the original 15" steels on!! lol

There amazing. Since fitted i've raised them up around 60mm as i was running on the bumstops, stupid really as it drove horrible! It drives superb now, complete transformation. No bouncing, not bumpy, just a smooth ride solid ride. I would recommend them.

I remember when I lowered my B5 I too did it far too low - I remember once I had to mount the pavement and drive along it as I could not get over some speed humps down a back lane and I was holding up, and get this...... a tractor! My car must have looked like someone who hadn't drunk for days and was slithering slowly across the desert!

That was the moment that I realised that be decked onto the ground was't as good as it looked!
