So unlike you guys here in the US, we don't get S3.... i wanted a ibis white and no dealers in my area had it in S-line so i bought it in Premium. After 2 years of owning the car i have bought a used S-line seats. First time i have swap the whole seat and i got an air bag light. So after a few months i decided to just swap the cushions and the cover out since the frames are the same. I wanted to use my original frame with original connectors. However, this hasn't fixed my problem. I checked to see if any wires are lose but found nothing... Here is the error code i'm getting, i've been driving it since then

you may have nipped a wire going from the bit the seatbelt clicks into mate

Assuming you've tried to clear them 1st, but I'd say maybe these new seats didnt have the seat belt warning fitted????

Easy way to check is if the seat belt buckle has any wiring going to them, if not thats the reason.

I'd check all positions on the car loom side of connectors in the floor have a corresponding pin on the new seat connectors.

As for expert, wouldnt go that far as many can help including Phil.

Whats harsh about that comment.

your implication that phil isn't an expert? nm lol

NO numnuts, I was referring to myself, read the thread title.

haha like nige im hardly an expert (i got what you meant nige ;)) learning every day and once you start breaking things down they get less and less complicated, my dad i would call an expert not me though, cheers for the thoughts subby, as for the op id be taking niges advice first however as from the way i read your post youve kept the existing airbags buckles etc?, in which case its a fault clear and if not a nipped wire at a geuss
