the quality is first class and fitting it was easy but it tells you to wire it into the ciggy lighter. i tapped into the ashtray light cause its much easier. its a brilliant fit and feels good in the hand.

got one like that in mine but without the s line, during the day mine looks like the standard one, as they only illuminate with the lights turned on, on the car

yes mate you can get them for the 5 speed ones i posted a link up ages ago with a link on them all though i was taken the mick out of about needing it to light up so i knew where the gears are lol

haha! people are haters sometimes aren't they! I doubt i'll ever do it as I would prefer to lower it first to be honest, I hate it looking like it's on stilts. Or, even better still I might just save my money for a better car or fun stuff for my bike

I think they look good though personally.

2 wires, took around 20 mins to do the swap and wiring

thanks guys. like i said it was easy to wire up cause i tapped into the ashtray light that means i didnt have to strip anything out. and it only comes on when you turn your lights on.

when i did mine i didnt take anything extra out, managed to get to the cig lighter wires when i removed the centre trim which the gear lever gaiter is attached to

My cousins 18yo bf despite being a light up knob himself has one of these on his fully halfords rover 200.

I shant be falling into that trap!

Gets my thumbs up alright and I cant for the life of me understand why someone would call this tacky. Its not like a chrome Halfrauds knob with green LED's. This looks OEM.

It does appear to be marmite that's for sure. I quite like it, but would need to see one in the flesh before I ever considered it though as it has to be pretty bob on to be an oem look-a-likey.
