So I brought a 2.0TDI SE last year but wanted an s-line. I had just missed out on one and got impatient and brought this. It had the horrid wood interior etc this was it then:

So off I went to convert it into an s-line. First thing to go was the wood interior for piano black inlays. Then I added the 18" s-line wheels. The half leather black/white interior and it has been de wipered. Currently looking like this:

Its in the body shop two weeks from now for the 8P2 s-line front end with the black FK grill. I also have s-line lowering springs to go on too. Hoping to give it a good claying/detailing next month before it has to go :crying:

So many unfinished plans like: S3 pedal, S3 gear knob, S-line rear end, 09 rear lights, different wheels, pressed plates. Was also planning to contine the creamish white from the middle of the seats onto the mirrors and wheels.

Cheers N8 amazing how much of a difference it has made. Yours is not too shabby either :)

Looking good matt. Big improvements with what you have done so far :icon_thumright:

Thanks for the comments guys and yes don't worry I have had a qoute to retrim the arm rest!

loving the retrim :icon_thumright:, can i be cheeky and ask how much this roughly costs? can anyone recommend a place in Glasgow area

cheers

Looking good Matt i will be an amazing transformation when its done, i have the SE so do you have all the toys like puddle lights and mood lighting and footwell lights and door handlelights like me? maybe its an extra's package im not sure

Nice car anyway

Looking good Matt. Like the interior aswell one of my favourite combos to go for. I like the idea of the creamish white on the mirrors and wheel :) Looking forward to seeing in with the new bumper

Hi fella it was not a re trim just an interior swap. I have seen other people qouted around £1000 for an interior re trim. I have been qouted £80 for the armrest. Hope this helps.

Cheers Mike got all the toys (cruise control, auto lights, auto wipers, rear dimming mirror, interior lighting for footwells, door handles, map reading lights etc) Its a shame the s-line does not come with these standard!

Was at Coulsdon Audi this morning getting my MOT done and happened to look around a 2.0TDI s-line SB on an 07 plate with 42K on it, was a bit steep at £14K considering it had a couple of scratches but looks like my car is going for one of these next month due to the second child on the way. Really looking forward to changing it now :)

Not sure if I like it without the Audi rings can't decide if it looks a bit aftermarket. All I need to do is the fogs and then the car will be up for sale

Matt i must say im not a fan off badgeless grills but i do like yours. Makes the car more stealthy. You happy with it? What bulbs do you have? Where you get the grill to? Still doing the creamish white mirrors and alloys?

Got the grill from FK AUDI A3 8P 05-08 BLACK S3 STYLE DEBADGED GRILL on eBay (end time 17-Oct-10 17:06:38 BST)

I like it just unsure if I miss the Audi rings but it does look stealthy. I have already got the fog lights here but have yet to get bulbs for them. Once the fogs have been fitted thats it with the mods and the car will be up for sale. Need a 5 door with baby no2 on the way.

Ahh thats fair enough. Thought it was the FK one off ebay....Looks good, you gonna get another Audi or something different?

Think I am just going to get a mk4 golf gti as a run around for a year then order either an 8p3 sportback or I am hoping the new generation a3 will be avliable to order by then but I won't hold my breath.

Cheers mate I think the price is about right considering all the work it's had done, don't you think?

nice work love the whole car, rims, leather, front... :)
keep up the good work :D
