Fahd, you got any more pics, be interesting to see what you've done!

3rd pic is superb. do you take a light when you go shooting?
i did'nt take the photo's a mate of mine who works for golf+ magazine took them these are some of the pics that may make it into my upcoming feature in the mag
What i mean is it looks like it has been taken with 2 remote flashes (so two flashes on tripods with some kind of remote trigger on the camera) so when you take the photo you get a better fill light from 2 duffernt angles at the same time. And they would have used whats known as a softbox which is kinda box made of a white fabric that takes away the harshness of the flash giveing it a softer look.
was along these lines there were deffinantly 2 tripods of remote switch not so sure there was a softbox involved though
how did you do such backlight?

i think the de-chroming makes the audi and s3 badge stand out more, makes the front end look cleaner and less cluttered too.

also what offset are your wheels mate, and have you got spacers? only i've got some ready to go on and have no idea how they'l look.

an 8l with 8p conversion?! i have to say thats the best i've ever seen! id lose a lot of the chrome though imo.

I'm glad you guys like my car. I'm loving driving it. Yes superkarl it's an 8p conversion. Dani I do have more pictures, I'm hoping to start a project thread soon, detailing the pretty large amount of work that's gone into it/ going into it soon. I'm just waiting for the site administrator to change my screen-name (it's a long story), although I sent a request about two weeks ago and they still haven't changed it. :(

S T U N N I N G mate! Really really nice. What suspension you have on it to make it sit like that?

one thing, I think the chrome grill would complement your car!

cheers for the comments, I prefere the de-chromed surround for the grill as it makes the S3 badge stand out more...ive still got another chrome grill surround if i should ever change my mind, lol.

superkarl: not exactly sure of the offset off hand, but they are original RSTTs so I think im right in saying the offset is 35... but I could be wrong and I hope someone who knows better will correct me, lol. when the car was in the garage they told me it had hub adapters on the back which must have been fitted by the previous owner so am not really sure how big they are, but other than that the car is compleatly standard. What wheels you got for yours?

i've got rs4 wheels same as yours, but mine are reps, got them cheap, there offset is et45, which means il have to fork out for spacers and bolts. using a wheel calculator they'l be further in by 7mm, so to fill more than the 17' avus wheels il be going for 20mm spacers on the back and 15mm on the front. just more expense.

your car looks very clean nice and original, i like it.

Need to un-seize drivers side front coilover so I can match the front end to level it out.

Matt.

AshC09, what wheels are you running on your Audi mate? they look fantastic, what size are they too? as I'm very interested in buying a set of those for my Audi, cheers.

Fahd.

fahd, they are audi rs4 replica wheels and they are 18'', hope this awnsers your question.. :)

Thanks for that mate, I'll have to look into getting a set, could you please tell me before fitting these wheels were you running smaller stock alloys? if so what was the difference in ride and road noise comfort like? is it particularly noticeable? also do you have any problems with the wheels rubbing in the arches? thanks again Ash.

Fahd.

Hi Fahd, To be honest, the ride is a little more bumpy, but its fine really, no problem with the arches rubbing, it handles a bit better imo, yes i was running the smaller 16'' stock wheels.. hope this helps..

Nice clean car. I would however realign your boot badges to where there supposed to be.

Hi all
Have recentley joined and thought id post a few pics of my current and previous a3s all have been 1.8 t sports and all great fun... this is my most recent audi and it is nearly full s3 replica .
the kingfisher blue was my first audi which had been lowerd and had rs4 alloys aswell as quattro leather interior and induction kit , remap and dv and s3 mirrors. having trouble loading my pics of my audi a3 project car that sadley neva made it onto the road for very long due to head going on it due to bad water leak during the winter. i think the water froze and cracked the block or sumthn but im no mechanic.. ill try get pics up soon tho cus i worked hard on that car just to have to sell it for spares and repairs... it had near enough spec to my kingfisher blue but was unmolested and had no engine mods or lowering springs.
