OK, only 8 weeks to go, lets get some ideas for Xmas presents, since my mind has gone blank, I need some ideas on what to buy for the other half and the little one(6 year old).

Years and years and years ago when me and the missus first went joint xmas shopping together I walked into Argos and asked for £200 worth of £10 gift vouchers. My missus said I needed to put more thought into buying presents and she has done all the xmas shopping ever since:yes:

i think that's genius myself. Job done.

thinking of getting a dell mini 1012 from dell outlet and just calling it my xmas pressi , wife want some Pandora thing that looks like a £10 gift but will cost 100`s :( .

I aint buying much this year man! Cuttin down! Although I'm gonna propose so thats my present to her

That's a BIG present, Goodluck! :icon_thumright:

Haha, the missus does do the Xmas shopping, but I want ideas on what to get for HER(without her knowing).

That's one of those fecking charm bracelets isn't it? I bought one for my woman's 21st. What a rip off - the thing broke in like 5 mins :(

I suppose I could always buy her a K04 hybrid Turbo.

Yes Jo, that's the way forward!!

Ahh, that's the best part of the plan. She buys what she wants. wraps it and all I have to do is write out a label and give it to her

Good Luck Nath'!!! (hope all goes to plan)

Jo, we cutting down bigtime as well this year mate, kids dont come cheap (as i now know)

To be honest, the little one is too little to 'want' anything in particular, so the empty carboard box with lots of wrapping paper round it will work a treat ;)

And the same for the missus too.

Im with you on the pandora bracelets mate, i got one for my missus for her birthday, now all she wants is charms for it which cost an arm and a leg, especially if you go for any gold ones (which break up the colour apparantly).

I am lucky, my wife has no desire to have a pandora bracelet, yay! However, she does want a digital SLR, DOH!!

Would your lady like a pampering weekend away JoJo? A holiday? I have considered booking a secret holiday to austria or somewhere for christmas, but might be a pain getting the little one a passport. Suppose we could go without her, but i'd feel bad.

Mate, when they hit 6 years old, talks of PS3 and new laptop is not unheard of.

She will be too busy keeping the little one entertained this year aye.

No chance mate, I can't geet weekends off for a start, and wherever we goto, we need to take junior with us, so it's not that simple.... nice idea though.

jojo book her a spa day or a nice long weekend away some where. Or ask her friends for ideas lol?

Mine wants to go New York for her christmas present so i'm taking her early next year. But will buy her a pair of shoes, a dress and take her out new year eve:huh: I better get some thing good:sly::eyebrows:

Oh great so the Pandora stuff is £££ and it breaks lol typical, I tried to be crafty and order a cheap fake from fleabay but looks like it won`t arrive :( can`t believe how much they charge for the tat

The problem is...our wives/other half's etc all think the same thing. My wife just cannot comprehend how i'd pay £300 for a remap on the car, lol.

Joe if it was me I'd want either a turbo or supercharger! Not to much to ask for haa haa. Deffo not want a Pandora Bracelet! But like most, we are also cutting back, just treat the kids and maybe a couple of Wii games to play when we are having a few lagers or bottles of red!

Whats your wife into? Does she like theatre/shows? or is she a clothing/shoe collector? Or would a simple but sexy piece of jewellery or a nice watch suit her more?

We need to know more of what shes into! And dont say you lol!

We've decided to keep it simple this year,,, what with having two teenage children, who want the simple things in life, Like laptops & I phones LOL,, I 've got some S-Line door blades for sale on the bay ,and agreed this evening that what ever I get for them can be for her xmas gift,,, Shortly after that the biddding went from £51 to £199 :banghead:

jojo why did you have to remind us all of this! were all happy just thinking about what to spend on our cars!

as for the pandora bracelets, my mrs stands at about £1500 worth so far, its painfull buying things for it, but seems to shut her up, she's obsessed with them. this year (this is really really gay!) im thinking of getting the gold heart charm and an 'I' and a 'U'. as this is one way of delaying 'The question'.

previous gifts to my mrs have been, pandora bracelet(makes them wet), armani watch(damp), holiday(she wont shut up about another one), perfume(women have to have them all so its always a winner), phone(later got pick pocketed). these all went down well, obv it depends on the type of women and her taste. mine as you can tell likes expensive S**T!

the spa idea is brilliant, they'l be made up AND they f**k off! (borat) GREAT SUCCESS

ive bought the following for others, gift vouchers laptop various blurays and dvds, and myself i get an s3 ;)

OK, I don't know what these Pandora bracelets are, and judging by some of the replies, I don't think I should, and neither should she lol. Missus had a thing for collecting Swarovski crystals a fair few years back, and I think she managed to get some limited edition ones too, but since junior arrived, her interest in them dwindled, saving me a packet in the process!

ok just pop into the nearest store , go on you know you want to. The price adds up faster than the mods for the S3 lol
