F1 Season 2010

Interesting.
Kimi Raikkonen is making a fresh bid to return to Formula 1 next year after approaching the Renault team for a drive
I hope hes comes back.

Hope he does aswell, would make next season intresting i think. One to watch next season i think is Hulkenberg, he's going to be a great driver in thr right car.

Alonso 1 Ramilton Nill....nuff said

well done to Alonso.....but i fear your mind battle of Hamilton versus Alonso is still dillusional, Hamilton beat Alonso in the same car over the course of his first season, surely you cant be so short sighted??? :)

This could well be Alonso's season as Ferrari seem to be offering a competitive package now.

As for the Hamilton incident, it is always going to be debatable....my take is that there is no way Webber was going to get around that bend being that tight into it whilst approaching at that speed.... not so sure it was a racing incident at all

congrats to Hamilton for being so calm and collected, had it been a mardy Spaniard i fear we wouldnt have seen him again for two weeks, just a trail of toys from his Mclaren pram (yes i realise thats an insult :) )

LOL @ 1animal1. You seem to have the same swiss cheese memory as shamilton. Did you not see him when he retired, Thrwoing his steering wheel on the floor and kick himself in the car? If you had have watched it live then he kept showing the car camera above his head when he did it. He sat in the car for ages sulking as the camera man took pictures from the front. Now if that aint spoilt brat syndrome then i dont no what is. Hehe.
Here is a typical swiss cheese memory from Ramilton
""After that I'm not really sure what happened, he was in my blind spot, I didn't see him alongside me, next thing I know is my tyre's blown and that's it," said Hamilton. "I'll have to watch it on TV and see what really happened."

Typical

sure he will have been ****** off when it had happend, did you hear the praise he got for being so calm under interview? do you really think Alonso would have left his trailer following the same incident for a similar interview, i'd bet my life not.....

really failing to see your argument here as always :)

Not a argument, just pure facts. Hammy is reckless when he knows his champ attempts are fadeing. Maybe he should take vetels seat as he crashes almost as much as webber. Would make a ideal team mate..LOL

Ramilton is a one trick pony and wont win the championship this year and just for the record, i said it at the begining of the year if you go back on this thread to read it, i doubt Alonso will do it this year but he he definatly do it next year. He needs a year to develope the car.

say all you like matey, FACT is that Alonso wasn't as good as Hamilton in his first season, PROVEN ;)

i know, its a shame they arent using the same machinery as that would show Hamilton as the better driver - FACT - reference 2007 :)

i actually looked behind me then haha!!

personal gains, its either replying to AS.net or share dealing that make my day up :) luckily i am my own boss here hehe

Hey 1animal1, What was you saying about toys outtat the pram again? Below is a picture of a thousand words...hehehe..

i'd love to bet that he was ready to be interviewed later on though..... :) besides one occurance doesn't make him Alonso :)

haha ive only just this minute had time to check the BBC out, and low and behold..... a Hamilton interview haha!! hardly anywhere near an Alonso strop by any means

Its a good job Alonso is at Ferrari, cos he cant beat Hammy in an equal car ;) ....if i could be ***** id gather proof, plenty of it, a whole seasons worth :)

Hamilton handed five place grid penalty for gearbox change

Oh dear......:applaus::Flush:

is that his fault? :)

good job really cos otherwise ALonso would be well ******** if Hamilton was fighting fit with an equal car :)

good job really

i agree as you no what he is like when he is near a ferrari, he uses the prancing horse to take his wheel off.

I wonder how many million pounds worth of cars he has trashed?

Come on Ramilton, Crash tmr :applaus:

and even with that tally this season he is by far the most prolific overtaker of the entire grid.... although he's probably trashed more cars than Alonso purely becuase if Alonso doesn't have the car, he's never heard off, and you knows it :p

Former Renault ace Warwick - with 162 F1 career races under his belt - has seen the action first hand this year as a race steward in Spain and Hungary

There is always a lot of talk of Alonso being pound for pound the best value driver out there.
"I kind of agree with that because of the way he kept his car on track against the leading pack when the Ferrari wasn't competitive at the beginning of the season

Yeah what does he no..:rockwoot:

So 1animial1, you getting up early to watch it live or you gonna be a armchair critic and watch the re-run?

Lewis P5.....Oh Gear Oh Gear......LOL

Will await 5hrs for 1animal1 to watch the re-run to comment. :lazy:

Haha I'm recovering from a severe lack of sleep. Erm define arm chair critic cos that's what you are too haha.

Anyway it has been sky plus'd but couldn't wait hehe....I'd be more gutted if hammy was a worse driver than alonso, at least the car can be fixed - btw quoting one pundit means sod all when you watch the rerun of hammys first season, pound for pound but not including the rookie that took it all away on the same car haha.....keep quoting though cos I love how your trying to argue against fact :)

I wonder if ramilton has extra staff working for just him to rebuild all the trashed cars he ends up with? Funny how his team mate who is the current world champion, does not smash it up as much.

Anyways heres another one for the cabinet...........

you really have no argument haha, ive just watched the whole race and qualifying.....qualifying - didnt actually realise that Hammy had beaten Alonso who has proven how good that Ferrari really is this last two races....shame about the gearbox change but nothing that can be helped, the very reason Alonso was worried at the beginning of the season, although he was worried about engines not just the gearbox!!

in the race Hammy was hunting him down like a dog...... and as for the team mate comment I dont think you can class Button as a driver notorious for ringing a cars neck and so im sure his cars will last forever :) ...this can be evidenced in the qualifying and points of this season.

end of the day Alonso sucks *** which is what your really desperately trying to (but failing) to disprove....Hamilton beat him fair and square in his first season and has continued to do so, Alonso unless he has the car behind him sits nicely in the background, you just dont hear anything about him wreaking every last bit of performance out of a doomed car..... what was the comment midrace today, about classing Hammy as the type to 'wring' a cars neck like the Schumachers of this world and on 'occasion' Alonso.....speaks volumes matey, Alonso may have won two championships, but he hasnt done it against Hamilton yet and probably wont as long as Hamilton remains in contention - to argue that toss would make you an unbeleivably stupid person given the FACTS presented :)

Looks like Alonso out quallied Ramilton once again by alot. Alonso starts on the clean side of the track so should get a good start.

Well done to Ramilton for managing to go through a day without trashing his car into a wall or another car. Altho he almost did it on the way into the pits..

Will await 4 hrs for 1animal1 to report back once he watches the re-run.....:jester:

haha not even seen it, i've been having neighbour issues which is causing sleep problems...therefore its taken a back seat!!

i do know one thing though, Button is wey back and Hamilton is squeezing everything possible out of that car...you can tell as he's pushing so hard he almost 'walled' it, seems by Alonso's comments prior to qualy that even he sees Hammys spirit..... who was quickest on the more unstable tyre choice in a slower car i ask you....

regardless, Alonso just simply has the car for the job :) we've already seen him against Hammy when he was a rookie, equal car now? not a chance :p

Welcome back 1animal1. Dont envy you with you neighbours, been there before.. sh*t situation..

Anyways.. ALONSO OWNS AGAIN!!!!!

haha you relentless tail you.....

just wait till Hammy has a competitive car and you will not hear the end of this you petulant child :)

****** good race though, have to say its the first time i have felt sorry for Vettel given that this was the first time i'd seen him actually laugh lightheartedly about something he could very easily have got in a strop about. Saw from lap 25 so missed the Webber incident, shame Hamiltons tyres were so knackered as he was closing Alonso down at some points.... weird that his new tyres were degrading so much behind the safety car

Roll on 2 weeks time......wonder what that will bring

comon Reptor....dont be a tail end....provide us with some commentary that isn't Alonso biased.... its boring just like his driving :)

Yup, So boring he is making Ramilton look like a amature... Check out the points dude.. no one will remember who over took who on the what track at the end of the season. They will just remember who is the champion :)

Ramilton and button are one hit wonders and nothing more. Kinda reminds me or villneuve. Were are they now? Trying to capture what they fluked. Remember Ramilton only won it by one point because Glock "pulled over" or he wouldnt have even won his one and only championship.. Button only won it because his car hit the ground running and it took 6 months for all the other drivers to catch up. Soon as button got to the silverstone rounds, he was rubbish as the other drivers had the same rear end as braun..
Alonso has clearly made that ferrari into a world class car when you see how crap its been (last year and most of this year) i said 6 months ago that what alonso has is the ability to make a crap car good with the use of his input. You can see what i said when you look back over this thread, when i said renault, mclaren, ferrari was all crap until he joined and then they had a great car. Im sure you will reply will the usual "mclaren are ace, you love Ramiltons brown star, blah blah blah" but look past your blindness for Ramilton and you might, just might understand F1 alittle more.

oh and finaly.............................

LOL mate, you don't half talk a load of ******! Look at what you typed below, no one indeed, apart from yourself maybe?

Of course whoever has the most points at the end of the season is crowned World champion, be it by 1 point or 10, winning is winning, and hats off to Alonso, he's the quickest man out there in the last few races, albeit with a dash of luck, but I'm sure each and every other F1 driver would take it.

Now the Redbull's non finishes has kinda opened a gap for the top 4 with Alonso leading it, it's his to lose really, he just needs to bring it home in the top3 the next 2 races right? I'd prefer Webber to win the title, but not even Redbull are backing him so long as Vettel mathematically has a chance of winning the title also... LH is a long shot, he needs to win the next 2 and have Alonso and Webber to have some sort of a mechanical failure in the next 2 races, but i's not impossible and would make me happy indeed.
