Gday from Oz from an Owner of a Modified S3 and a Q5 family lugger!

Hi Folks,

I have been aware of this forum for some time but usually active in the OZ forums. Thought I would join up and say hello and intro myself and hopefully ask for your help in future should the need arise

Names Rob, own a MY10 Audi S3 with quite a list of mods! The S3 is my daily driver thats been set up specifically for track work and to be street legal at the same time. A very very hard compromise to achieve. Also own a Audi Q5 as our family wagon! Love the Audi product. Great cars over all.

I track my S3 on a regular basis and also own a VW R32 Hope to meet new people here!

yeh the car is great fun on the race tracks.

i can get some seriously fast lap times that surprises a lot of the evo's, sti's and other fast cars on track and surprisingly its a pretty reasonable car to drive on the streets

The VAG Scene in OZ surprisingly is quite large and has a good following.

Sadly VAG cars in OZ are quite expensive due to prohibitive Tariffs, Taxes and import duties and the exchange rate. A nice little A3 like yours will retail for about 65k AUD which is like 40K british pounds!

OZ is great in terms of driving roads weather etc!!! Nice place

Very nice my friend - I've been looking a the tuning scene quite a bit in OZ and the USA recently for some ideas for mine - I totally love the front brake set-up - this is high om my list at the moment!

Wow, no way, so its worth me shipping mine which was the plan anyway! Glad to see there is a good following out there, sure I will fit in if it happens for us. The good weather sounds good and I totally agree its a fantastic place.
