Black coolant/screen wash caps and Glass rear wiper plug

I have been searching ebay but can't seem to find either of these items.

I am after the black screen wash/coolant caps to replace the random blue ones (have seen some before but cant think where) and ideally if they had a dipstick with black ring on top instead of the orange one that would be good too.

Also wanna dewiper the rear but wan't the black glass plug instead of just a rubber bung but can't find these either.

Any help would be appreciated.

Awesome GTI sell a black coolant cap, but not a screen wash one. I was thinking of painting mine.

Yeah I have it mate. I fly back Wednesday night, and have 3 weeks off done. Let me know if you want to do your wiper disable thing (and any other vagcom bits)

Got a MFSW sat next to me at the moment, Single Din stuff may be sorted this week, Dewiper the rear soon, plates, bit of tidying up and that's it for this year. Then springs, spacers, cruise control, finish the install and possibly wheel change next year


Oh and may aswell ask, any ideas on what a S line steering wheel (minus the badge, need it for the mfsw) and double din setup (without the headunit) are worth roughly?

MFSW - I bought one last night on ebay for £31 + a tenner postage.

Another one went for £1.20 but postage on that was £45 !!

So I suppose a standard one will be considerably less ?

How did you get them that cheap? They were running at around £150-£200 a3 multifunction steering wheel items - Get great deals on Vehicle Parts Accessories, Steering items on eBay UK!

Just have to make sure that my airbag and connectors are suitable PLUS I know I need another steering ecu, the one with the suffix 'F'.

Don't know anyone selling one do you ?

8P0 953 549 F is the Audi one shown in EKTA

1K0 953 549 AK or AJ - yes you are right those are the VW equivalents and would be ok.

My current one is 1K0 953 549 AF which was ok for my cruise control upgrade but not for mfsw. I also think I have the highline DIS, at least it shows mpg etc. at the bottom; outside temp in the middle and radio station or phone at the top !

Just thought I'd bring you up to speed. Got the wheel which was exactly as described but on close inspection it won't fit ! Well that's not strictly true because it will fit the steering column ok but there is a subtle difference between the A4 wheel airbag fitting and my existing A3 airbag fitting.

Be aware that the only difference NOT apparent until you try to fit it is that the airbag screws on the A4 wheel go in at an angle whereas the A3 ones go in straight ! No way can it be made to fit.

Moral of the story :- not all adverts stating " fits A3, A4, A5 etc. etc. are strictly correct down to the last detail - in my case the most important detail of fitting the ****** airbag !
